Le dutch pouring fera partie de mes premières expériences, j'aime l'"abstrait figuratif". What a treat to listen to you and to watch you work, clean, gentle and successful. I start in Pouring so I’ll use the varnish later in association with the medium. great results, QUESTION: would the creative inspirations gloss varnish self level if poured instead of using resin, and why dont you just varnish the finished painting with the c.i. gloss varnish? thanks in advance for your advice!

They are both so beautiful. Can you tell me approx what your Paint vs Creative Medium for the colored paints pls? I just purchased some of the Creative Medium and very excited to use it. I generally only use Floetrol, which is usually 2 parts Floetrol to 1 part Paint depending on the thickness of the paint. Are your Colored Paints as thin as your White? Thank you, loved your video.

Ha Christina so when I go on jerry's site and put in the soho paint it doesn't show the colors is something i'm doing wrong? I will get some if that varnish to try as well anyway another thing I learned thanks sorry to be a pest!

So pretty! Very nice :) Do you normally not use water in your pours? What do you use instead when you want a thinner consistency? Also with the polymer varnish you used here, is the finished result glossy enough that you don't need to add a top coat of varnish? Thank you again for inspiring!
I never use water in paint pouring paints. Only in my basecoats. I use Flood Floetrol to thin them down. Even though it is a glossy finish, I still coat to protect from dust and grime.

3 ounce cups with just a squirt of paint, no measuring needed. On the white 1 cup white and 1 cup medium/varnish as stated in the video. I have dutch pours for the rest of the week.....lol
if you don't mind cells, you can use Liquitex Pouring Medium or glue all, Gac 800, any pouring medium, just don't use straight water unless you are using a super high quality paint.
Gac800 is just a pouring medium and aides with cells when using silicone. Since it is so expensive, I didn't use it on this pouring. Gac800 is also great to prevent cracking and crazing.

Since it is a medium it will not level out. I prefer Liquitex Gloss varnish to finish my paintings or Stone Coat Art Coat Resin. Both are archival.

I love SOHO paints. It's not the paint that creates cells, it's your medium and additives. All acrylic paint is plastic.

equal parts paint and varnish and water to consistency. No floetrol or glue

If you don't like using water you might try air brush medum. thins well but does not delute paint.
that medium is way too expensive. You'd need more than 1 cup per batch. This worked out great with no cracking or crazing.

Same way Brenda. On the Dutch Pours we don't use the paint pouring paint, just this mix. I showed how I mix the red.

Deberías poder probarlo con floetrol y barniz. Sólo asegúrese de que el barniz es a base de agua.

Yes Kathy, I used Soho Urban Artist acrylics.
The blue is fantastic to me the red I like but not as well as that blue
