Daytripper aside, Diamond City feels very nostalgic for me. I remembered when I was still on elementary and went to the arcade like 4 days of a week to play Mario Kart 'till evening. I think that whenever you get a Kart on Automatic, it's always inside drift. Inside Drift and Outside Drift both work differently on Automatic, which is why you're turning tighter than usual with those vehicles.
It’s weird that he spent so much time looking for boxes on Grumble instead of trying more to do the shortcut shroomless, cuz it’s not very difficult (cuz of the x1.3 speed); I tried it! There’s actually 2 ways to do it: get a partial startup boost, slow down and turn a little right as you don’t trick off of the 1st ramp, then drift hard left as you trick off the big ramp, to land on the other route. Release a mini-turbo and hop just before you reach the offroad, and you’ll bypass the offroad and smack into a lava pillar, but you’ll usually still make it and just be stunned. This is the optimal strategy. I got a 31.7 second 1st lap using this method. You can also go the long way around and get a super mini-turbo, which is much slower but easier. Even if you don’t make it or go between lava pillars and careen off the other side, you’ll usually get the respawn, which still saves a bit of time, assuming you don’t fall off again on the small ramps, which is mostly luck-based unless you slow down and trick on the first one to give you enough speed for the second. When doing the long route, for a faster strategy, (but slower than going the short way), you can hop later, right as u go off the edge in the offroad, luckily slip between lava pillars, and still barely make it cuz of the SMT’s longer boost, but this is obviously risky.

Back then, I didn't know what it was, I was like, "what's Tournaments?" so I clicked it, it connected to the internet (somehow) and I played Backwards Mushroom Gorge. I found out later that was the last one, if I had known, I'd have played it more.
