I think Paul McCartney has the same voice since 60s as Ringo Starr
No, sad but not true. It has been clear the diminishing of Paul's voice since the end of the 90's-begining of 2000's. But it is logic. From 1958 to August 1966, Paul and John carry on all the weight of singing in both Beatles' live shows and studio recordings. From then on to 1970 that continued the same but only in studio recordings. After the break up, from 1972 onwards, with few hiatus (from 1981 to 1985 and from 1992 to 1998), Paul has not stop touring and from 1970 has not stop recording up to know (except from 1993-97). During the end of the 50's through all the 60's, Ringo lead Beatles' vocals only in an ocassional manner, for both, touring and recording. After the break up, it took to him 19 years to make a comeback on the road in 1989. Along the 70's he recorded regularly, almost yearly but in the 80's only recorded 2-3 albums while in the 90's there were only two. He has return to recording and touring regularly in the new millenium. Thus, the vocal chords of Paul have consequently got more eroded than Ringo's ones and both have a very similar age. A logic result. But the most important thing is that it is absolutelly remarkable and admirable that, surpassing both guys 80 years old, they are still touring and recording new material!! God bless both for still bring to us their musical skills.
I love Ringo and he probably sings fine live, but this is so heavily pitch-corrected, he doesn't even sound human.

Only for one thing - That he won't speak out about what happened to the real James Paul McCartney in 1966. It's a shame to keep the secret about a man who was loved by millions for SO long. Now, both John and George are gone. They tried. William is propably going to take the truth to the grave - His ex-wife Heather Mills has her millions so she couldn't care less about her "box of evidences". Ringo who is the last Beatle left should get the truth out know. That will mean justice for Paul (1942-1966) who has given us so much, also, then John and George's death's wouldn't have been in vain.

Ironically,Ringo's good voice is now as good as it was in the 1960s. Ringo demonstrating that he can play piano in"the key of C'. They didn't call them 'the 4 headed monster' for nothing. All super talented.When there were instances of all 4 Beatles singing together,Ringo's voice always seemed to dominate to my ears.

Ringo doesn't get to sing on almost any Beatles albums - not sure how you single out his voice. I just hear his drumming in a way that I never did before after seeing peter Jackson's documentary and Ringo emerged as more than just "the funny one." He had my heart.
@@clearfield2009 The End Medley,Flying are 2 instances when all 4 sang. Ringo's voice was very strong in those instances. Sure there are more but don't come to mind at the moment

Ringo, just wanted to tell you that "Don't Pass Me By" has always been one of my favorite songs from The Beatles era. First time I listened to it was on a White Album double cassette I used to have back in 1981. I was born in '64 and didn't speak English then having been born in Puerto Rico, but I still liked the melody and the backing track. Just want to THANK YOU and The Beatles for bringing us so much joy to our lives for so many years. We all need that in these times of hate, thirst for power and uncontrollable egos. I can't imagine this world without your musical talent! YOU really are the coolest and best drummer in the world!!! And, for that We Love You!!!

I've always loved this song since the first time I heard it as a teenager. Ringo is a treasure and seems to bring happiness were ever he goes. I'm sure he was devastated when the Beatles stopped working together as a group back in 1970 (as were millions of fans back then). He seems so down to earth as an individual with an amazing talent and having a huge amount of fans.
I was born in the early 1960ies and grew up with the Beatles. Their music made me curious for more music until the present days. Thank God to have Ringo still among us.

This song is so sad to me. I know it’s supposed to have a happy tone but I find myself crying every time it plays. My girlfriend’s mother passed away 3 years ago in April and I find the the lyrics hauntingly similar to this situation. Even tho there’s such a happy tone in the melody and sway of the song, the lyrics can be incredibly sad, it reminds me of her because of lyrics like “I listen for your footsteps but they don’t arrive” it makes me think of how the world would go on while she would be devastated for the next 2 years while she tried to find meaning in anything. Like the lyric “I don’t see you, does it mean you don’t love me anymore?” She would wonder why her mother wouldn’t come to her in dreams, why she wouldn’t feel her with her and she is doing betterish now but I can’t help but find myself seeing how she felt when I hear this. Truly haunting and beautiful.
My father died suddenly on Veteran's Day, and he was an Air Force Veteran. I am still coping with his sudden death. I am sorry for your girlfriend's loss. I know what you mean about this song, it IS sad.
