I feel bad for him. I think his evil actions are caused by his father's dna but he's a good person inside, he still have an human side too. I was kinda angry at Tate in the last episode because he was incredibly rude to Michael. I loved the way Constance took care of him even with his bad side though 💕
same, I don't know how Tate had the audacity to act like a saint when he had literally done worse things than Michael (at that point) At least Constance and Ben put some genuine effort into taking care of him!

I honestly lost all respect for Tate's character in this episode, which was ironic considering it was supposed to be his redemption arc. I mean I honestly thought Tate was evil before they showed he was possessed; and I still liked him better that way. At least I thought he was psychopathic something that he couldn't really help being. But he's just a dick to his own son. Like I understand why Ben got his fill of him. He watched the guy incinerate peoples' souls and was horrified by what he saw. What he saw was arguably the cruelest possible thing someone could do: erase someone from existence. I really wish they would have just made Tate's redemption arc consist of him saving Vivian. That would have been cause enough for he and Violet to get back together. If my lover raped my mother, I would obviously break up with them, but I think I could find it in my heart to forgive them for saving her from being erased from existence. They didn't need to make him denounce his own son just because Michael was the antichrist. That just made Tate seem more like a douche than anything. He already got plenty of redemption just from saving Vivian's soul from being obliterated.
