I am learning this now, it is such a beautiful yet very difficult piece, so I have to give it to you. great job. you definitely gave a new look at the piece for me and I love the way you played it. bravo.
I play this as well. I also agree. Too many try to speed it up to show off on the cadenzas and lose their soul in the process ;) yours , other than that single note mixup, was transcendent . I hope to be half as good soon.
This is good. You should also check out Liszt pupil Moritz Rosenthal's interpretation of this. Personally I find it the best one but this video is actually pretty good too
I learned this piece for like 4 months, but im still struggling to do the appergios bass from the third part beautifully like you did. Any advice or tips?
If you’re talking about the part from around 2:12 onward, I would say the best thing to do is just start building up from a slow tempo and increasing it with more practice. I think it’s one of those things that just need some time to develop. Best of luck!
Thanks for the comment! For the section after 1:59 with the arpeggios in both hands, I would suggest slowly practicing the precision with the octave jumps, and you will be able to play it faster over time. Also keep in mind the overall flow of the melody and emphasize those notes over the arpeggio notes. Practice is key! Good luck!
Honestly I don’t think about the pedalling much, it comes pretty intuitively over time. For the most part I just pedal when the harmonies change, and I didn’t do much half pedalling in this piece.
Listening to this makes me want to learn it even more. I wish the song never ended.
Just like a dream huh
I don’t wanna be that guy but, Piece* (I’m sorry)

sounds so nice I'm trying to learn this piece but it's so hard you make it look so easy. I'm up to 1.59 any tips?

Julian ; Complements for you. Next video you tape : We would like to see your face also. You play so well! 👍
I always skip the first and second cadenzas 😅 I should stop cheating myself and learn them 😅
Haha I get that, it’s pretty rewarding once you have them down though!
how do you do the pedalling for the piece? like do you do half pedals?

@@JLMusicDude ah thanks
очень красивое исполнение!
a deeper v-neck might aid the performance
