Just got my first today. I can tell immediately that I’ll be happy with this knife longgggg after the hype fades. Just one of those things you know you won’t let go
I was lucky to score one for Oz pricing in the latest FCFS and I agree on all your points. Making me rethink alot of my knives and planning on selling a bunch. I have no intention of selling this now that I've handled it. I foresee your new favorite knife being the Rosie XL
Like the handle shape, Like the full flat grind, Like the blade angle. Don't like the false edge toward the tip. And I don't see a steel reinforcement on the lock. This is not my cup of tea, glad you got what you wanted. Good video. Thanks
Very nice knife. Absolutely stunning! I still think for that amount I'd buy a Herman due to personal preference. The sound of their knives is extremely unique as well. Rosie is definitely an amazing knife tho.
The design is stunning, but not worth even close to secondary imo. I’ll take my arius over the Rosie any day. But I also have xxl size hands and like blades between 3.25-3.75”. The QC Drift L gives you similar ergos as this, a phenomenal blade steel and profile and it’s less than half the price.
I forget his name. But the person who does the heat treatment for Oz is supposedly one of the best in the world. I would put Oz right with all of them.
Definitely not worth the price imo. At 5-600, sure. But not when you’re in Koenig, skiff made, holt, brown knives, etc territory. I firmly believe that the arius is the best production knife made and currently being made. Mine is a forever knife and gets tons of carry time. The fsd-i is my next high end purchase.
@@Sleepy_spartan717 Why do you think it’s not worth it? Or what makes you feel OZ isn’t on par with those companies? Personally, as far as Mid-Techs/Semi Custom knives go, I think OZ Machine Co., Brown Knives, Skiff Made, VC Edge, Koenig, & SPK Unlimited are at the top of U.S. makers. Obviously there’s some others like Maverick Concepts, SDK, McGinnis, Kody Eutsler, etc. but, they do more custom work as well.
I would rather have this than 3 basic Spyderco knives, but most people would agree with you. I have several knives, so I'm only looking at lifetime knives like koenig, Medford, holt, les George, or Oz.
Very nice demonstration of the blade configuration.
I am very jealous. Some knives just really talk to ya, and this one sings, man. That is an amazing piece to have. Congratulations.

Yes exactly!! I feel the same way
1st introduction to “Rosie” for me. Looks sick. Thanks for the breakdown. Very detailed. 👊🏼
Also love the finish. I like black/darker finishes, but also prefer that scratches and nicks blend in with the pattern
That 9 is straight up one of the nicest looking knives I've seen. I need to go to a knife show and experience all the grails.
Dude your mind will explode, you gotta!
Rosie is the best knife to have ever existed. No kidding
Nice choice
I don't do frame locks for myself but I'd totally break that rule for a Rosie...
Yup.
I’m getting mine 4th hand next week. I love that!
Hell yeah!
Very nice. I’m glad you are still loving it.
Dan is the man. I bought my current Rosie from him.
Awesome! Yeah he definitely is

Right on! Yeah man I hope sometime I can handle the XL
I was looking for the XL but am told the acoustics are better with the one you have.
Man bro that finish is so fuckin gorgeous.
It really is 😍
Crowel jewel-congrats, man! Enjoy the heck out of it

You really love that knife. I would too if I owned such a perfect example of a super slicer
I'm beyond jelous but also really happy for you :) Congrats on getting it!
Great review, thank you!!
that knife looks sick on the table background

Morning Doods!!
Happy Monday bud!
love the video brother keep on keepin on
Where do you rate this knife in comparison to the other top models currently? Norseman, Arius, Brown FSD, etc.
I’m haven’t owned any of those, so I can’t really say. This is my first really high end knife
it would be cool for a comparison, the only thing for me with the Rosie is I have XL hands- could it be too small?
@@doodysdaggers
@@Damen0530 nope. I have about 3/4” of handle leftover when I grip it so you should be fine
@@Damen0530yeah it should fit. They also are making an XL version soon

Why don't they make native 5 with compression lock?
Not sure
Wow! A BadAss knife!!!
Damn that’s crazy, my whole collection cost 1 knife
helping me through the shabazz drought :)
Glad to be of service 🤠

Morning Doods! Finally made it in early!
Hell yeah broski!
$300 knife looks cheap now.. dang bruh
Oh no. Nice knife but I could get 3 or 4 really good knives for that.
