MB14 is very famous in France. • He is beatbox world champion with his former group Berywam he is a founder of Berywam but the group itself performed and shined in AGT when he had already left) • He was second on The Voice France 2016 and third of The Voice France All Stars in 2021, and sometimes he was not using his loop station at all. Even as a normal singer, he is amazing. • He had the lead role in a 2022 french movie, where he plays the role of a rapper/slammer who becomes opera tenor: it got some solid success in french theaters and was titled “Tenor”. • Recently he got a golden buzzer at Britain Got Talent 2023
Thank you for taking a look at this. MB14 was the lead in a French movie in 2022 called The Tenor. He has a beautiful singing voice! This was a lot of fun!
@@MrPete81 Not sure who Layne is, but if it's just a percussionist in an acapella group then MB14 will destroy him. People tend to forget that MB14 is not just a looper but also passed the elims in GBB 2019 solo category
Yeah MB14 is definitely underrated for his talent and experience with loop station beatboxing. He should DJ the most exclusive clubs and get paid big bucks for his skills!
No manipulation on the loopstation, just a bit reverb. He is a purist, wants to use only his mouth and uses a first generation loopstation that has almost no special effects.
@ 2:00 While some Loopstation beatboxers do use signal effects MB14 is notorious for not using any. Only just a slight bit of reverb here and there. Side Note: Not a fan of this version of this performance. His tempo is sped up, probably from the nerves, and he leaves out his whole rapping parts. The better version, imo, is his La Cup Showcase. Though that's longer because he does 4 songs. 2 originals and 2 covers.
I think there may be some manipulation that is occurring from reverb, EQ and microphone placement but not any other specific effects that would significantly manipulate the sound as far as I know.
I've never seen anyone watch MB14 and say, I suppose you'd be impressed if you hadn't seen looping before, but he's no big deal. Even other beatboxer/loopers are impressed by MB14's level of skill.
All the machine is doing is looping - possibly a little reverb, everything else is voice and looping. The guy is that good. edit: It a pretty old tune he made called Pyramids, it has lyrics and everything. =)
Actually the next Level of beatbox productions has started. For this trend, i really recommend taras stanin (creepin' from weekend) and/or Jairo (gbb2023 elemination) they have a real high level of musicality, sound-engineering and of course beatbox-skills
I sent you a donation and a link for a request for Tommy Johansson's cover of Phantom Of The Opera. He does both voices. Did you get? If so, when do you think you'll be able to react to it? Looking forward to it.
If you want to see a man come up with amazing music on the fly, I would recommend Marc Ribillet - but be warned - his stuff can go off the rails pretty quick! He is quite mad, but a musical genius nonetheless! 🤣🤣🤣
Thanks Ken, I love this guy. If you've already reacted to it and I just couldn't find it, I apologize, but have you seen Kodi Lee's first audition on America's Got Talent? It's amazing, because it shows the power of music to overcome conditions most people would feel were weaknesses. And he went on to write his own songs; I've heard two of them and they are amazing. I'd love it if you'd check him out & give your opinion on how musical ability can somehow circumvent barriers to other things (like speaking). I'm not sure if that makes any sense, but I'd love to hear you react to it if you get the chance: th-cam.com/video/DAPkOxRnh4c/w-d-xo.html

The show sets a time limit for performances. He fit in more by speeding it up and saved the rap to reveal in the next level.
❤
Btw he made recently a movie named Tenor where he sings opera
So have to check out mb14 la cup showcase right comment section?
I mean he became the choir, the orchestra, the sound engineer and the maestro.
You have to geoff and wicked games... its crazy

we are waiting for your reaction on Taras Stanin :) he's amazing you'll see!

would also recommend sam perry :)
Would you be so kind and react to Chris Cornell- Seasons?
You won't find one reaction video on youtube, and it is by far his best song. Very pretty!

The young guy that did this on the Voice Aus did a cleaner job in my opinion. This is good but yes.
You mean Sam Perry?
Why do all beatboxers do that thing with their hand?
He is feeling the beat and time because he is adding the next loop before you hear it.
o please react to Taras Stanin's covers 🤟
again abit too fast tho
I did a little research and NB14 has been doing that specific riff since 2014. Still amazing, not phenomenal.
You mean, performing his own song?
@@petttybettty No part of my comment said it wasn't his. You assumed, making an ass out of you.
