Are you thinking about moving to Baldwin County? You will be happy to know 3 Cities in Baldwin County have been named NAR's Top 10 Hidden Gems of the Housing Market 2022!! Baldwin County I feel will no longer have any hidden gems with the publication from the National Association of Realtors! Three of Baldwin County cities made the list! Also, one of those cities (Fairhope, Alabama) now has a one year building moratorium! In my opinion this will only drive price value even higher in Fairhope.

Which city of the three do you have the most interest in?

Probably Foley due to its location. We love to ride bikes and the park in Gulf Shores has a lot of great bike paths. Fairhope has a great downtown, but the prices are getting up there.

What is the 20 month build moratorium? What does that mean? My husband ad I live in South Dakota a d got approved for a 184 loan through Tribal 1st and are looking at Fairhope.

It means they have put a stop to new construction homes during that time frame in those locations.
