I wouldn't say they suck now, but I do miss the solos. They have downgraded though, I will never forget watching them live opening for Danzig and they prerecorded almost every solo for Progenies of the Great Apocalypse, standing in the audience shaking my head because Mustis wasn't playing his solo. Old Dimmu will always be the best.
+Rene Aensland I saw them with Amon Amarth and Children of Bodom about 7 years ago.....when they started playing Progenies I came in my pants. They sounded so good back then... I miss songs like Insight and the Catharsis. Fuck me sideways that's some powerful shit.
Great song before they sold out. Can anyone answer my question why Swedish and Norwegian black metal bands sing in English than their own language? I'd imagine it's a "travesty" against their pagan or Native roots. Also why the fuck can you hear someone talking during the performance? Annoying...
