So as she started to change and grow to love the earth her thinking could of changed into thinking that maybe scaring the other diamonds away or they wouldnt care enough to do anything would be the best way to go about it. They didnt seem to show they cared that much before to make her believe this. So her thinking would be it would leave earth free to the crystal gems to live on. But she was proven wrong in so many ways. So it was just a leader making some good calls and bad ones in the end. She was clever about how to go about it but bad at seeing what the end result could be.

OrderMisty Well maybe there was a cut of gems called “Rose Quartz” made by Pink Diamond, but the specific character Rose Quartz founder and leader of the Crystal Gems and mother to Steven Universe.... never existed. Think of Bruce Wayne and Batman, Rose Quartz in that aspect: Rose might as well be the Batman of Gemkind, while in secret is actually Pink Diamond.
She could have gloated without slapping the same old video onto it at the end. At least make some changes to it or commentate on the things that were incorrect or something. This is just really lazy. I believe that Steven has his dream powers for a symbolic reason: One of the reasons why Rose/Pink wanted to have a baby, was because as a human she could feel more and EMPATHIZE with others. We saaw multiple times that gems, and especially Rose, have difficulties entering someone else's shoes

The only major flaw in this theory that you are wrong on was that Pink Diamond didn't switch bodies with Rose. She WAS Rose. She just turned her gem on its side so the bottom was shown. You can say you were right all you like, but your theory is in no way totally confirmed. All it confirmed was that Rose was Pink Diamond...but she never replaced the mind of a Rose Quartz with her own and abandoned her duties in that fashion. Plus I don't see the point in reuploading this video and then starting it off by bragging about "How right you were" when you the only right thing you got was what I mentioned before (Rose WAS Pink Diamond). I don’t understand how people don’t like this twist. Honestly it clears up soooo many plot holes about rose and pink while also giving new emphasis to Steven. Also come on we’re such a devoted fan base one of our theories was gonna be right sooner or later, and that’s not a bad thing! It just shows how passionate we all are for something we love!
theres some plotholes in this tho * how could pearl and pink manage to stay at both wether the moon base (for pink or some other base) and with the rebellion? *plus, wouldnt someone knew and got suspicious of it? *in fusions with either rose and steven (rainbow and smokey), how could they form a kind of quartz?
In season one episode twenty-two the Crystal Gems sing a song at the end with a lot of specific foreshadowing. Steven sings the lyrics "Can't you see it in our eyes? We're the one. We're the one." Then, later in the song diamonds appear in his eyes. This is important because in all the episodes prior (and the earlier part of this episode) his eyes would have stars in them. It should be noted that this song was originally written for an all Steven band and the lyrics applied to that band initially. Also, when Steven sings "I accidentally created an alternate timeline." Pearl looks extra concerned even though she saw all the other Stevens appear in front of her and knew the powers of the hourglass. The last line has a direct correlation to what occurs in season five episode eighteen, 'A Single Pale Rose'. Steven sings "I learned to stay true to myself by watching myself die." Side note: Connie's eyes only have diamonds whereas the Crystal Gems have stars like Steven (aside from the instant mentioned above).

I always wondered why Rose even wore a dress throughout battle - she's a quartz who most likely fights and labors for her diamond. All the other quartz were dressed for this purpose yet she was the only elegant looking quartz in a dress and I always assumed maybe they had certain quartz do other things and that's what Rose did. Now it makes perfect sense why she stood out so much from other quartz - she was never one of them.
i dont trust anything in the show anymore since basically everything was a lie and rebecca and the crewniverse could do whatever they want with the show and we just gotta roll with it. anything could happen now at this point. this show is starting to affect my mental health. man who would've guessed the theory that everyone thought was dumb was actually confirmed.

I knew Rose quartz was Pink diamond from the start. When Jasper mentioned Pink diamond it was already kinda obvious. Let me explain: Now before the diamonds look like they were the bad guys or girls. If u were to think about how they would win against the almighty and powerful diamond, it would either be thru fusion or the *classic* "friendship will always win". But if u they were to win on a more reasonable way, that would be if one of them were as powerful as a diamond or if one of them was a diamond. And that would be steven, after all he is the main character, and in the end the MC always wins. It would make sense if steven is a diamond making him powerful enough to beat them or atleast convince them to stop. Anyways that was the reason why it was so obvious

I knew before that it's possible to turn her gem cause it is flat in the base so she could just turn it. Actually, 2 theories were confirmed: 1) Pink Diamond and Rose Quartz are the same being 2) Pearl "shattered" Pink Diamond Both were shown to be true as Pearl shapeshifted into the form of Rose Quartz to use her sword on Pink Diamond, who would shapeshift into the form of Rose Quartz to have her own rebellion.
Does the sleeping issue in the breaking of the theory need to be restricted to sleeping? It could be she was meditating, if such a thing might help the diamonds hone their powers and such.... The only major flaw in this theory that you are wrong on was that Pink Diamond didn't switch bodies with Rose. She WAS Rose. She just turned her gem on its side so the bottom was shown. You can say you were right all you like, but your theory is in no way totally confirmed. All it confirmed was that Rose was Pink Diamond...but she never replaced the mind of a Rose Quartz with her own and abandoned her duties in that fashion.
Plus I don't see the point in reuploading this video and then starting it off by bragging about "How right you were" when you the only right thing you got was what I mentioned before (Rose WAS Pink Diamond). The basis of your theory is still incorrect.

I don’t understand how people don’t like this twist. Honestly it clears up soooo many plot holes about rose and pink while also giving new emphasis to Steven. Also come on we’re such a devoted fan base one of our theories was gonna be right sooner or later, and that’s not a bad thing! It just shows how passionate we all are for something we love!

In season one episode twenty-two the Crystal Gems sing a song at the end with a lot of specific foreshadowing. Steven sings the lyrics "Can't you see it in our eyes? We're the one. We're the one." Then, later in the song diamonds appear in his eyes. This is important because in all the episodes prior (and the earlier part of this episode) his eyes would have stars in them. It should be noted that this song was originally written for an all Steven band and the lyrics applied to that band initially. Also, when Steven sings "I accidentally created an alternate timeline." Pearl looks extra concerned even though she saw all the other Stevens appear in front of her and knew the powers of the hourglass. The last line has a direct correlation to what occurs in season five episode eighteen, 'A Single Pale Rose'. Steven sings "I learned to stay true to myself by watching myself die." Side note: Connie's eyes only have diamonds whereas the Crystal Gems have stars like Steven (aside from the instant mentioned above).

I always wondered why Rose even wore a dress throughout battle - she's a quartz who most likely fights and labors for her diamond. All the other quartz were dressed for this purpose yet she was the only elegant looking quartz in a dress and I always assumed maybe they had certain quartz do other things and that's what Rose did. Now it makes perfect sense why she stood out so much from other quartz - she was never one of them.

New theory! Channel Frederator has close ties with the Crewniverse, Rebecca Sugar (Creator of Steven Universe) worked on Adventure Time (Which was created by Frederator Studios). What if Rebecca told them about the reveal months ago, so that they could make a conspiracy video on it. Then they would clue fans in and take credit for theorizing the reveal.

I knew Rose quartz was Pink diamond from the start. When Jasper mentioned Pink diamond it was already kinda obvious.
Let me explain:
Now before the diamonds look like they were the bad guys or girls. If u were to think about how they would win against the almighty and powerful diamond, it would either be thru fusion or the *classic* "friendship will always win". But if u they were to win on a more reasonable way, that would be if one of them were as powerful as a diamond or if one of them was a diamond. And that would be steven, after all he is the main character, and in the end the MC always wins. It would make sense if steven is a diamond making him powerful enough to beat them or atleast convince them to stop.

When i saw this first theory, i never really doubt the fact that it's not true. I mean, before i saw the shapeshift of Rose into Pink. I knew before that it's possible to turn her gem cause it is flat in the base so she could just turn it. Maybe Pink did the Quartz gem look like that on purpose, so she can camouflage as part of a Quartz. So never really shocked at all, just when i saw Pearl was shapeshifted as Rose
