I've been retired from the military for almost 3 years now. I've been watching all your shows to learn the best way to metal detect, I love how you guys are down to earth. Maybe someday I can do some metal detecting with you guys.

I have dug hundreds of those confederate bullets. My son says he gets tired of digging bullets. LOL I never get tired of digging them, right along with all the belt buckles and buttons. Nice bullet hunt!
Bullet & Foo (My 4th & 5th great grandfathers both served in the Union Army. 5th great grandfather served from 1862-63 seeing action with the 1st Vermont Infantry Regiment at some of the bloodiest battles of that period of the war. He received a medical discharge in '63 after contracting Malaria. His son, my 4th great grandfather was in the 14th NH Infantry and served from 1861-1865 when he too received a medical discharge after contracting chronic diahrea while in the swamps of Georgia that stuck with him until his death decades later. He received a pension from the Government as a result.)
Yep I would have given anything for bullet and Foo but it's my birthday and everyone was distracting me. LOL watching it now and what a great episode! Would love to hunt an area like that someday!

bullet & foo im probably too late but my ancestor fought in the civil war for the north under U.S. grant and it would be awesome to receive such a piece of history from his time
I got all excited about the bullet and foo thing cause I’ve never found those personally metal detecting and woulda liked one. Then I realized im a year too late XD
Finally got some CW relics my self. US cartridge box plate, bullets, Federal Navy cuff button. Dug 45 .50 cal round balls and more buckshot in one hole along with 4 lead disc, dollar size. Recently found a 1838 seated Liberty dime, still in disbelief. Love your channel, learned a lot from watching.
Was the farmer/land owner shocked at all the cool stuff you guys found? I'm bummed that I missed the bullet Foo bit, that would have been a cool win! Next time...

I love your shows, and I never miss one. I am an avid hunter of civil war relics. But could you guys do me, and the rest of your audience a small favor? When you dig a button, especially civil war buttons, could you please throughly clean both sides of the button, and show both sides, and leave them face up? Then explain to those that don't know, the history, make, and type etc. (All info) Some of these buttons are better than other things you display sometimes. Thanks so much. Happy hunting.
