They record the podcast on Thursdays and that seems like it’s almost an entire work day. And if they did pitches on Thursday, then Friday would have both the pitches video and the 4 hour long podcast. It’d just be way too much
Hope that's not the case. It feels like it really hurts all out. All In is always going to get the biggest thing in wrestling treat. All Out a week after is always feel like a B show or an All In aftermath. You see it with the cards this year already. Maybe it would make sense the other way around, or All Out was more of a build up to the big culmination that is All In, but the other way around All Out can only suffer.

In fact I'm probably not going to watch at all, compared to All In the card is mediocre. The best thing to do next year is move one of the shows. Part of me wants Edge in as a heel like Ross' said, the other kind of wants him arriving to cause a very poorly done 180 face turn for Christian. Buddying up to the faces, only to shove them away when Edge walks off or turns away, rolling his eyes at the five second poses. It's mostly to follow what's been going on but Taven and Bennett vs MJF/Cole. Let everything finally boil over into a match. Feels like a good time to shift over to the tag titles for the time being, as a piece of the overall Kingdom vs BTYBB. Maybe after it's all said and done, have either Taven or Roddy point out that this whole tag thing has been a means to keep Cole away from the world title, let that fester and cause the ruin of their partnership.
I could see the Wardlow MJF feud building to such a fever pitch that Wardlow ends up being the one to cheat for the eventual win. Making Mables Jables Frables a super ultra kitties n puppies over babyface.
Plus randomly throwing FTR and The Young Bucks together just to get them on the card. I also don't understand why Claudio and Kingston are facing each other in a tag match instead of one on one.
id like to see takeshita and someone else (not punk i hope he quits) beating down ospreay and omega makes the save because id like to see ospreay and omega as partners instead of rivals
I find Vic Joseph's commentary to be rather irritating, personally. He does this thing where he yells and raises the pitch of his voice whenever an impact happens in ring while he's talking, and it just feels kind of fake.
Then Goldberg makes his AEW debut and Bret snaps his legs off with a shoot sharpshooter and says "You're still a dick btw" as he holds the severed limbs above his head and everyone cheers.
It's pretty weird that they are re-booking all the dynamite stuff when it's a thursday and they didn't mention anything about recording before that or anything.
I never thought I'd say this about one of Andrew's pictures but his first pitch is probably the worst pitch I've ever heard him do. Even when doing fantasy booking people can't help but give CM Punk extra leeway and say F everybody else.
Punk should not , at this point in his career, wrestle Ospreay. PUNKS PERFORMANCE IN THE RING IS AVERAGE AT BEST. Jericho is a better performer thAn Punk. Ospreay should wrestle people like- Danielson-Pac-Fenix-Guvarra- Andrade- Mathews. Punk looks old against Samoa Joe let alone the most explosive wrestler in the universe. Punks style is slow and wrestles more of an Undertakers pace at this point. Punk sucks
Ross's reaction to Jack's last pitch is my whole problem with AEW's booking. So much of it is just "a wrestler shows up and says let's wrestle at [event name]" and I'm supposed to care for no other reason than because they're both "good wrestlers."
Yeah this series has made me realize booking and creative is kinda hard. Most of the ideas are aggressively mid. Like usually not god awful. But mostly just a "Well I guess thats decent enough"
