what’s the future look like for app platform? just some unsolicited feedback as a long time DO supporter:
love the platform and recently started using app platform but as i read through the docs:
- noticeably inconsistent (ex: spec file specification doesn’t reflect current specification; it shows deprecated attributes)
- sparse (ex: again the specification: could expound on possible attribute values - sometimes have to dig through other pages to find details)
coming across things like this makes me “feel” like the product has stalled or is stale.
does DO plan to continue develop app platform as well as maintain it?
i hope so: it’s a very forgiving and painless experience. i use aws for the day job (as probably all of us do) and using DO (not just app platform) for personal or side hustles in contrast to very complex systems like aws is very much appreciated 🙏
