How do you even do/get upgrades? Is that only for the PC version? I think I actually might need them for this level. And I thought mission 22 was ridiculous…
I beat it without Enslaved Giants and without any upgrades (don’t even know how to get upgrades though, I need help with that). It took me a while but I came up with a Swordwrath & Miner strategy that used well timed Projectile Barriers and Snow Squall. Honestly, I think Mission 22 was worse.
This video is outdated, it was made before they nerfed level 9. It was impossible before without future cards & upgrades, now you can though. Still impressive though with no upgrades 👍

At lvl 9 i had like 3 or 4 upgrades .. ofc you beat it with more upgrades in insane mod

He finished all campaign missions on a lower difficulty first then re did the level, changed the mode to insane
