All these people complaining about yone when yone needs good spacing in every matchup and is heavily gold reliant.
Not to mention dzu is literally several levels and items ahead yet can barely 1v1 a champion that plays the game for them.

if u main yone and your against morde id say it requiers skill whoever is better wins bc can always cancel mordes ult with e and if morde is good he wont let u do that

So most of the time he ults while I am in my e and I can’t cancel it then. I guess the mechanic is to E back as he tries to ult?
@@ianjimenez3833you have to press e2 while he is casting it. Its not too hard if he makes the animation obvious so he might try to hide it casting it right after his e or after stepping in a bush

Yah, Illaoi's downtime is waaaay too short, they gotta nerf her 'e' cooldown to facilitate some sort of countermeasure.
I agree that her kit is frustrating and way to statchecky, but nerfing her e cooldown will just make her the most useless champ in the game. She needs changes, yes, but nerf her e, no.
@@jonka6567Nerf her E, buff other parts, done. The fact that getting hit by her E is actually more dangerous than Blitz's Q in many situations say a lot about the spell.
Late game Illaoi with enough AD basically deals 65-70% of your HP in 1s from a screen away if you ever get hit by her E, no matter if you're tank or squishies, since your soul will be focused by their whole team.

On yone it's usually r q e w for priority, but in poke heavy matchups put some points in e before maxing q

I find it one the worst matchups for yone, because she can easily just shoot the e into you when you try to trade, also the e hitbox is actually bugged and the cooldown is too low when putting points into it.

@@mathisweng3046 I mean if you just use half a brain cell as illaoi you just never E when not actually trading or when yone e is up. You'll always outscale yone in side anyway, so all you need to do, is just not die early. If you're even you beat yone at one item. Also you can also force yone to dodge into you with slams from wall tentacles with W and make yone chose to take tentacle damage or be open to E. The matchup is so heavily illaoi favored it's actually insane.

@@wilsonlee4658if she buys ad and. You fight on top of your soul yeah, a 3 item Illoui with only doing damage to a soul averages about 60-70% into non tanks and bruisers, so if you fight her up close she really only needs to do like 30% of your hp plus whatever you heal to kill you

9:30 you pretty much do get punished for missing it as much as you get rewarded for hitting it. She is worthless without it and she stuns herself for nearly a second.
And no, she doesnt really statcheck anyone without it, even when ahead.
I agree that balacing a champion around a single ability is a shitty design, but the fact that she can smack people without it when ahead is striaght up false, against Illaoi you can always comeback and she can always comeback herself when behind.
Also, this is possibly the only time since her release in which illaoi has been a viable champion outside of low elo, and thats only because of IceBorn removing some counterplay with the giant slow on W guaranteeing slams and making it easier to land Es (it also saves you from buying Seylda which would be unideal) , Hullbreaker giving her everything she wants and Black Cleaver/Steraks/Shojiin being overstat. All her favourite Items are in a great spot basically.
She is basically like Yorick, she will almost never be viable because she simply has too much counterplay, and she cannot be buffed because low elo players will always disrespect her.

@@dzukill_lol Tryndamere, Yi, Fiora, Gwen, Jax, Darius, Rhaast, Yorick, Nasus, Trundle, Olaf, Udyr, Bel'Veth, K'Sante, Urgot, Volibear... but 11/0 says a lot and nothing at the same time, it mostly depends on items, xp, dragons, stage of the game... ( there is a way bigger difference between 0 items to 2, than 3 to 5)
With an item lead in mid game and 1/2 lvls she will get steamrolled by those champions if she misses, with a bigger lead? She can probabily statcheck them. But with a 2+ item lead and a shit ton of lvls which bruiser cant statcheck everyone to death?
And even then, you died because you played it in the worst way possible: you got hit by her E max range, walked into ult range to get the extra tentacle spawn and kept hitting minions while getting wacked for free. Had you gone on her instantly or had you disegnaged as soon as she landed E you wouldve desteoyed her. Unless you are playing an amazing 1v1 champion and you have a sizable lead on her you simply have to respect her.
Generally speaking yes, Illaoi can make up for bigger gold leads by landing E than most other champions (if not all champions), but unless she has a massive lead she is way less statchecky than most champions and she has to respect a lot of champions if she misses her E, even if she is ahead, just because of how much powerbudget is dumped into that ability.
She is also insanely useless outside of 1v1/1v2 scenarios, she is an immobile splitpusher who is slow at taking towers, she has no ccs, no utility and a terrible teamfight unless she playing against 5 melees.
The only thing she can do is hug a sidelane and hope that 2 melees stack on her and direspect her E/Ult all in because otherwise she doesn't have wincon.
None of those champs would make up for the stat difference on her item and lvl lead from being 11/0 still no

I dont think the game should work like that , I was 5/0 and 30 cs ahead of this illaoi as aatrox the another day and ı thought yea ı can fıght her in ın her ult ım a like 2 dimensions ahead and she killed me with ease I checked the replay ı was a whole item and 2,5k gold ahead ı thınk no chamopshould be able to do that after being so behind, she is a brain dead loser, i only push side and press r champ imo.

Illaoi is the only champ that can legitimately hard feed and still beat her opponent in the side lane. She is poorly designed and very overtuned to compensate for it. The champ needs a rework
