Great acting, great backstory.
If it was me, I’d just be pretending to be compliant so I could tip that shock collar off one day (using any of the interference techniques or by simply draining it of its power by conducting it excessively into sources other than my neck - more painful but it’ll render the shock collar nothing more than a regular collar). Then I’d escape.
Either that, or I’d just wait until the right moment to sink my claws into the weakpoints of the person, and break myself out with force.
The reason for wanting to escape? I read the description before listening to the audio; this person I’m inhabiting? They don’t deserve to be trapped and locked away from what they managed to achieve. They deserve to be free and love their life without that interference, moreover they deserve love that doesn’t literally trap them.
This sounds like the perfect life. We need a part 2 of this.

after looking into this further, the shock collar could be circumvented by completing the circuit with something conductive (ideally something like tin foil or jewelry but her or the listener's finger would suffice) this would prevent the electricity from entering the neck. Alternatively, the viewer could wrap their sharp cat nails around her throat and if she shocks then slice'n'dice. 2 ways to win that I thought of in 20 minutes EZ dub

Anyone willing and okay with TORTURING you regularly won't stop at emotional abuse or bodily harm. They will eventually kill you over some perceived slight (maybe you grew to old or fat), that no amount of "good behaviour" can save

Good thing I know a lot about Electronics on how the basic functions on how electricity works number one you can't generate static electricity when you're wet so you can get the battery to die if you can keep yourself wet and the collar dry two insulating the collar with rubber some glue or tape and a pack of balloons could ruin this entire of operation course depending on the the design of the prongs that deliver the shock you can just put a really thick material to insulate 3 if it's a standard two prong shock collar in terms of design for shock delivery you could hold apart of the collar to make it so the prongs aren't touching your skin your skin or body and then cut with a knife or scissors for if you can figure out a bypass from the anti-tamper you can just take out the battery and 4 there wouldn't be a battery powerful enough to kill somebody by electrocution because there's no battery that exist that could have fit in a collar and kill you
