I think the word "Stein" is pretty interesting, cause the german word means just "stone". And we never name the thing you drink out "Stein", we call them "Krug" oder "Steinkrug".

Nowadays people often tend to forget Brunswick when talking about Lower Saxony as it lost most of its significance after the war.
