The ult just does way too much damage. Its a giant unavoidable aoe nuke. Like seems kinda obvious that was going to be op even without the teleporting part.
yep, this is exactly what i was saying and why this champ is going to be insanely broken. every time people were doing the reaction/explanation/speculation type videos about aurora they kept thinking shes going to be weak and not that great because of the low range and no cc and whatnot.. i was like umm literally none of that even matters just look at the R it does 1k dmg to every1 on the enemy team while acting as a pseudo camile ult.. i said they are just going to rush huge AP + zhonya and play to one shot the entire enemy team with invis + ult engage + zhonya essentially being an insanely broken ap amumu... HOW did anyone not know how obvious this was.. and then i was also making that judgement when the base damage was even higher than it is now, i think when i looked at it it was like 150-300-450 + 80% ap ratio or something, so it was like literally at least 5k dmg team fight nuke.. it got lowered base dmg and ap ratio on release to w/e it is now, but it still is way, way too much. it needs to have no AP ratio scaling or this will be the only thing aurora ever is, obviously. the other option is that it does the big burst to the first person hit and the slow on the other teammates scales with AP, so like if u have a 700 ap aurora the ult does 1k dmg to the first target hit, then the rest of the team is slowed by 30% base + 8% per 100 ap or something so instead of the entire team instantly dying they essentially just get mega slowed and then take like a massive reduced dmg if they try to walk out of it. something like that, but the way it is now there is no reason to not just play ult bot aurora

ult dmg seems to be the most obvious nerf to her. 800 aoe that's so easy to hit is a bit much. Maybe make it do small dmg when you cast, then slow+bigger dmg if enemies walk into the edge

@@HassanKhan-wq3tk Dematerialize rune is no longer in the game. It was needed to do this. This abomination does without it also the champs that used dematerialize need an item also more than 1 second. Aurora does this in 1 second with half and item and no Dematerialize.

The ult is practically like a Karthus ult in a team fight, but with less cd and more damage
Irelia is the way to body this champ. As an Irelia 1 trick, I haven't dropped a single lane against one. She bullies hard early, but if you survive the early levels with enough hp you can all in her and she has no way to escape as long as you use the wave right. The issue comes post laning phase and her ulti being useful even when she is behind. Her ult used with a nunu or hec jungle behind her makes it great for picking people unaware of her mobility. Champ is cancer to face in solo queue because nobody expects her to ult them out of nowhere and trapping them.

my first game against her as Akali was fun, I won lane and the game but I will say she does a lot of damage for little to no effort and she has very short range. but once her q is down any assassin will have a field day against her. she cant stun, her invis is only 1 sec at 1 point and her E dash back is laughable. she does ALOT of damage though.
