So sad, everytime we have been in Santa Maria is The Pier always a place to walk to. According to the Prime Minister shall they start rebuilding the Pier directly. I hope he keep his promise

accordig to my (reliable) info the pier was in desperate need for an overhaul, but had no priority from the government. So a win-win situation

Good, Locals should stop selling fish there, thats so bush. Pouring Fish water and fish blood into water people jump into to swim. Build a Better Pier aimed for tourists and relocate the Fish market to a more local place
