Great video but you need to discover a bit more about how floodplains actually work. Water only flows downhill so if the Thames Barrier was really to impact on a small tributary of the river some 50 miles upstream then St Paul's Cathedral would be under several feet of floodwater ! The reason the Loddon Bridge park and ride floods is because it was built in the floodplain without sufficient protection. Floodplains are supposed to...er..flood.
i was born in Reading, thats the River Loddon the flood plains have been used for new housing projects all the way back up the River, up until recent times the Loddon never caused that much trouble
Daveys FPV Adventures You should fly over the new house building developments in Wokingham, I think that'll be interest to shoot that several times as it progressed over the next year or two.
mike bilsborough btw you should offer to do weddings. If someone is getting high end wedding and video, getting flyovers would over something truely unique.
Hi Mike, I'm always looking for interesting things to film :) .. However I cant make the transition to 'commercial' as there are far too many hoops to jump through.
Got my GoPro, now just need your drone. Excellent footage.

Drove passed here yestaday looked pretty bad tbh. What drone are you using incribble smooth
Do you need to have a permit for aerial work from the CAA and a BNUC qualification? Are there any operational rules and practices you need to follow?
Not for personal/hobby use you don't :)
i really want to know how you've done this video..... I'm guessing a toy helicopter?
Its a Quad-copter with a camera gimbal :)
using all the flood plains for building on didn't help too much either...
I can see my house :-)
