Make sure you have a separate bank account for ur business. Don’t use ur personal account to buy things. Being audited is a nightmare. 4. Make sure you’re using an accounting system and invoicing systems like Quickbooks. 5. Make sure you’re managing your time properly. If you’re overwhelmed and not feeling motivated, you aren’t properly structuring your day. Time management is important to getting the most out of your day. 6. Don’t price ur jewellery the wrong way. If I price my jewelry like that, my products will be more expensive than many of the famous brands here... any advice?
OMG...that is my biggest dilemma...'Time Management" I am a wife, mother of 4 boys, take care of my elderly mom, and have two cats and a dog. Not to mention I work full time...Luckly I work 7on 7off...I try to utilize my 7off for personal business productivity but that doesn't always work out so well..
I think it might be helpful when you are discussing "perceived value" to show an actual piece of jewelry that has a high perceived value and one that has a low perceived value because it is difficult to understand exactly what that means. What do you think, Tracey?
I want to start selling but don't really know where to begin. So I have nothing yet and want to start buying equipments or gems should I open a business account, put money in there and start using money from my business account so I can include that in my tax?
