abbagus1 Yes, she had a lot more impact in Mexico and other L.A. countries but all my friends in Argentina (in their 30s to 40s), just like the interviewers, knew about her and heard her songs (and Verdaguer’s). In any case I meant that she was a “pan-Latin American” figure. I don’t expect she was famous in Brazil, though ;)
