if you read up on the details it wont. X is undispellable so you cant stop it that way. And tornado etc just delay it. Youd need something that disables him while you attack and kill him before it' s over

Ah yes the good old days strat I remember people used to do that a lot on old dota 2 patch which it's so hard to catch them unless you got omniknight to repel the one being xmark even it's an enemy they won't be able to recast xmark 😂
Just ban omniknight if you plan to run this strat

What would be good counter againts this? To my mind comes only disruptor, good pudge hook or rubick with stolen x-mark.

As far as i can see you'd need bane to cast on him to remove his likens then nightmare/ult.
Please note folks divines are 5600 each, linkens is 4600, sb is 3000, shard is 4k, deso is 3500 so this is a 26,300 gold np lategame with another hero on full support. So unless someone can stun/disable him regardless this game was gg. Also note he was 14/6 at 49 minutes which tells me he's feeding or going to feed divines. Lots of counters to him at that point. Muerta would eat him similarly farmed. Pa would be an absolute nightmare and 2 or 3 shot him etc.
Put a couple heroes in base with cyclone/tornado etc to just disable him while the other 3 crunch their towers. This was awesome but it's only going to work once at best on a good team

How to make this rat strat more annoying: Hire an Injoker with only one spell and a sanic imposter that likes blood a little too much.

Need true disabler hero to deny this act, such as winter wyvern ulti to cancel back his X-mark. I don't know if Shadow Demon Disruption can cancel his X-mark or not. Need further experiments.

If you already have 1 rapier than a Deso and an AC give you more DPS than 2 more rapiers because of the way armor works. Especially to towers... I get it is funny to have 4 rapiers though.
