Kinda obvious since 4.0. People in Fontaine are just stupid. She can't explain why Childe was guilty. For 500 years nobody saw her use any kind of hydro power. No one question that? At least from a players perspective it is way too obvious she hiding something from the start.

Furina has the most heartbreaking story we've seen so far in the game. Even Nahida during her 500 years of imprisonment could talk to children through their dreams and spend time with Aranars. But Furina was all alone for centuries, slowly wasting away
and still be able eating cakes and chatting with Neuvi for decades of centuries, just that she is not a fitted person for that mission and breaking a lot of hearts when she cannot hold on the secrets any longer and broken midway. And instead by being a compassionate but sensitive friend that understanding other immediately, the traveler and especially Paimon in this quest were written like real people in the current world of the community, very misunderstanding and confused and sometimes can be unintentionally very toxic, which I really hope part 2 for the character quest of her..(do hope for Natlan and Sneznaya having even more better treatments)
Furina also spent those five hundred years watching people she knew pass away and being forced to keep up the act with their children, their grandchildren, and so on. All while knowing if she ever slipped up in her act and people find out she’s not the real Archon and is just another human, her entire nation will fall. It’s no wonder when her secret finally comes out, it’s like all the life drains out of her as she falls into despair, believing the coming flood is all because she failed to keep up the act.

She doesn't have any real life skills for any kind of job, except performance. And we all know her severe PTSD prevents her from even doing that. Any normal person would be living in the streets and fighting for survival. But Neuvillette was just and kind, providing her with home and food, but that doesn't mean she's going to get any special privileges either. If she wants to better her life, she has to work for it just like everyone else. But that will wait until the 2nd act of her story quest.
The 4.2 Archon Quest did something we didn't think possible... It not only made Gim not wanna be horny for once, it made him also want someone ELSE to be happy. Incredible.

I started playing Genshin on the day it was released. Still remember the day, when I got a proper glimpse of the world and Dvalin flew over my head and I instantly fell in love with this masterpiece of a game. Over the course of 3 years completed all the Archon Quests, Siblings Quest, and all the story quests. I absolutely love and adore the story and it's amazing how much they improved compared to the very beginning, it's more than praiseworthy. There were moments when the story made me smile, laugh like crazy, feel sad, and even cry. But never have I ever thought I would be so shocked and traumatized on this level by a Genshin story. In the Sumeru saga, Nahida's story actually made me cry and angry. But this, Furina's backstory traumatized me to the core. I have a little friend circle where we discuss the story, the lore, gameplay, and everything. I was so shocked that I refused to discuss anything about this quest. During the Fontaine chapter 1, when Furina was first introduced, I instantly fell in love with this goofy, smug, bratty kid. And thanks to Hoyoverse, the final chapter broke me. In terms of gameplay, I'm a metawh**e who pulls characters based on how meta-defining they are and I barely ever pulled characters for their aesthetics. That's the exact reason why I skipped Kokomi, Dehya, or Wrio even tho I love these characters (again, no hate on these characters btw. I love them). But for Furina I didn't care about anything at all. All I knew was that I had to get her no matter how she is. All the love for Furina. She deserves all our love.
Her arc finally broke me. I thought Ei's and Nahida's was the most emotional I'd get from an Archon quest but I was so wrong. I genuinely shed tears watching what she had to go through. Especially after that brutal trial just before, where everyone was so ignorant of what she went through and relentlessly scrutinized her. I haven't played her Story Quest yet but I really hope she finds happiness. She deserves nothing less. Edit: This quest also made me so happy that I accidentally pulled Neuvi just before getting her. I almost skipped him but after this quest, I love him as a character more than ever.
Hello! Good animation you made me cry a little and Furina is one of my favorite characters, with her backstory and her personality she is one of the best. In her quest with the theater we get to see her real personality and it was one of the best quests I've ever done after Itto's

Tbh, didn’t realize how much furina really hit everyone till Gim made a somewhat normal video, and it makes sense why: we all have had to try to fake impersonating something; from our personalities, to things we hate, all for the sake of survival and progression, but could make it through due to our personal connections and determination keep use forward on that path, but furina didn’t have that: a being born into a life, not allowed to make friends, to open up their own feelings or vent to anyone, always having to have to put on a persona that isn’t them, for 500 years. Trying to make connections to ease this pain, but in the end, they always leave, and never want to be with you, and over time, having to watch those people die. This cycle constantly moving for 500 years with death not being an option. Not being allowed to live and do their own desires due to having to pull the same act, over and over repeating all for the sake of their life’s purpose: to save the people of their nation. (Given by your god/original you) while that is all bad, I think the reason we’re all so saddened, is the reaction everyone had forward her in the end: not willing to apologize, slandering and making fun of her, and belittling. (Last 2 are mostly paimon from what we know.) Instead of thanking her, the people of Fontaine move on, they move on, and act like it never happened, choosing to forget her and act like her sacrifice never happened, even tho she had to sacrifice everything to save everyone. Which is why I think everyone is so attached to her.

I had to have Neuvillette and Furina together. I was fully willing to pay to get Furina. Happy my luck pulled through and I won the 50/50.

Tbh, didn’t realize how much furina really hit everyone till Gim made a somewhat normal video, and it makes sense why:
we all have had to try to fake impersonating something; from our personalities, to things we hate, all for the sake of survival and progression, but could make it through due to our personal connections and determination keep use forward on that path, but furina didn’t have that: a being born into a life, not allowed to make friends, to open up their own feelings or vent to anyone, always having to have to put on a persona that isn’t them, for 500 years. Trying to make connections to ease this pain, but in the end, they always leave, and never want to be with you, and over time, having to watch those people die. This cycle constantly moving for 500 years with death not being an option. Not being allowed to live and do their own desires due to having to pull the same act, over and over repeating all for the sake of their life’s purpose: to save the people of their nation. (Given by your god/original you) while that is all bad, I think the reason we’re all so saddened, is the reaction everyone had forward her in the end: not willing to apologize, slandering and making fun of her, and belittling. (Last 2 are mostly paimon from what we know.) Instead of thanking her, the people of Fontaine move on, they move on, and act like it never happened, choosing to forget her and act like her sacrifice never happened, even tho she had to sacrifice everything to save everyone. Which is why I think everyone is so attached to her.
