Other people have probably already said this but even though Ryan Reynolds is playing wade Wilson aka “Deadpool” it’s not the same version of Deadpool that he plays in the Deadpool movies
Nor is it remotely close to the ones from the comics you're the only thing that it got right compared to the comics is that Deadpool in the comics got his healing factor from experiments done on Wolverine that were then done on him they changed it in this movie and over exaggerated his abilities giving him crazy Powers Ryan Reynolds who is a Deadpool fan from the Comics actually warned the studios that they're going to piss a lot of people off. Apparently they held a screening where they showed just a clip of what they did and so many fans hated it that they made them come back and do that bonus scene at the end to show the Deadpool's not dead and that his head survived and his mouth is open again so he can be the wisecracker that he always is. And then in the newer Deadpool movies they changed how he got his healing factor a little bit but other than that one detail the newer Deadpool movies are extremely accurate comic book wise to his overall Persona Etc
And Ryan Reynolds hated this version. I'm quite sure, unless I remember it incorrectly, that he makes fun of himself showing a picture of this "Deadpool" version in the first Deadpool movie.
@@EnriqueGonzalez18362ur right he does hate this version, he made it clear that in order for him to return as DP in the movies, it wouldn’t be this version.
Kevin Durand is one of the most versatile actors of this generation, I was shocked to see him as the Hispanic cellmate of Ashton Kutcher in The Butterfly Effect! 😯
Remy LeBeaus’/Gambits’ power is kinetic energy. If he exposes that same power into a small object, he pretty much can turn anything into his own grenade. In the comics he uses playing cards for explosives.
I'm glad Vince liked this movie. A lot of people crap on it but I really like it. There are some parts I could do without but I liked it better than The Wolverine, which comes later.
In the comics sabretooth hates wolverine because he killed his brother Saul on his birthday so every year on Logan’s birthday victor Finds him and kills someone he loves
When this movie came out there was a plan to do Origins movies for a slew of the other X-Men characters. I think Magneto, Gambit, and Storm or somebody else was rumored to be on the list that the studio was hoping to do. When this movie failed at the box office to draw a significant amount, the Origins movies were scrapped and instead they reworked their ideas to make First Class where you combined a bunch of origin stories while starting the X-Men.
Taylor Kitsch was one of the best casting choices as Gambit! For the small time he got on screen, he nailed the role! Now I wish Austin Butler is cast as the new Gambit in the future live-action X-Men movies.
Funfact: Wolverine's birth dad's name is Thomas Logan (hence the name Logan) and Wolverine and Sabertooth aren't brothers. there's no relation between them except for their feral ablilties and their healing factors but the point is both of them aren't brothers
I said it once and i say it again. It´s a Shame they didn´t use Gambit in the other Movies. Gambit and Wolverine having a special Relationship in the Comics.
Whenever they run out of ideas they make a Gambit movie or series. Deadpool being a main character film was somewhat going out on a limb at the time of creation and look how huge Deadpool has become when 10+ years ago hardly anyone knew who Deadpool was. Maybe they give Gambit his own story one day.

Nah this movie is rated perfectly as dog shit. The CGI is the worst of any Marvel movie, the story is weak, and they completely butchered Deadpool beyond belief. The opening montage though of them battling in wars is top tier.
@@scaryfstball100definitely underrated. It’s pretty cool, great action and the story is good. Think you just wanted more from a wolverine origin story, didn’t live up to your expectations

If you enjoyed this film then you will LOVE "Logan" which the the Old Man Wolverine movie. It takes place after Days of Future Past from what I remember and its an amazing movie that i highly recommend.
Fox wasn’t planning on making Deadpool (2014) Ryan Reynolds’s leaked test footage and it went viral and the demand basically forced the studio into making it
A few things I think are important. His age and the wars from the opening of the movie are true to his story. For his surgery scene alone the movie would have been R rated if they showed it true to the comics. The first X-men movie had it right that the adamantium on his bones was grafted to his ENTIRE skeleton. That means they had to literally cut him open and keep it open to the bone and but the metal on his bones. I don't know for sure how long it took but I am betting days if not weeks. Also as part of the Weapon X program Logan was psychologically conditioned into being a killing machine to the point that he could not remember anything about his life before. You get a glimpse of how bad it really was in X-Men Apocalypse.
This movie took a lot of liberties with several characters. So it disappointed a lot of fans. Sabertooth, Deadpool, and Gambit in particular. But tying in other characters like Emma Frost (diamond skin girl) and Cyclops also felt silly since they didn’t need to include them.
X-Men Origins Wolverine is one of my favorite movies in the X-Men universe. I loved the different mutants like Wade Wilson aka “Deadpool/Pool”, Gambit played by Taylor Kitsch, Victor aka “Sabertooth”, John played by W.I.L.L.I.A.M etc. The cast was great including Hugh Jackman, Leiv Schreiber, Ryan Reynolds, W.I.L.L.I.A.M, Taylor Kitsch etc. I loved Logan aka “Wolverine’s” transformation scene and the action sequences were amazing as my favorite one is the barn house action sequence. Loved your reaction/analysis. Take care and have a great one.
The actor who plays 'Fred' in this movie is the same man who played the cowboy Hugh Jackman made a bet with in Real Steel with the bull... Shoshanna does NOT look like Wolverine's "love interest." In the comics Wolverine got his name from other cage fighters he fought with. In this movie it seems as of Rose gave him that name.
Adimantium is a synthetic alloy made with Vibranium so the ore they found in Africa was pure Vibranium but they didn't have the ability to manipulate it refined into it's pure metalic form.
Fun Fact in the comics Wolverine is Weapon X, and the Weapon X project is a branch from Weapon 1, which is Steve Rodgers/Captain America. Also, the actor who plays Gambit plays in a movie called John Carter, which I recommend you watch if you haven't
Yessssssir I fucking love this movie one of my favorite movies ever Hugh Jackman as wolverine is amazing I can’t see anybody else be wolverine other then him
The reason this movie was made was to explain the reason why Wolverine dosen't remember who he is in the Xmen movies. But I agree I could have done without it. Also If you watch the ending credit scene of Deadpool 2 you will see a funny scene making fun of the deadpool in this movie.
This movie is will.i.am’s first acting role. In the comics, John Wraith’s mutant codename is Kestrel. He was one of my two favorite mutants in this film. My other favorite is Remy LeBeau/Gambit. He’s a pretty well-known character among the X-Men. Anything in his hands is a deadly explosive once he charges them with his kinetic energy. That includes a deck of cards which are his favorite pastime. He also carries a bo staff as a secondary weapon. Gambit is also one of the main X-Men in the 90’s Animated Series and its’ continuation X-Men ‘97 which has received a lot of positive acclaim. We hope you guys consider checking it out sometime, and if you want we can tell you bits and pieces of what happened in the original cartoon as we go along. Two more seasons of X-Men ‘97 are in production.
Bear in mind this was the first of the Wolverine franchise. They were trying to make a solo movie for him, yet tie back to The X-men trilogy. Channing Tatum was supposed to carry on the character of Gambit which never came true..
Fun facts: in deadpool 2 u can see Wade (deadpool) go back in time and kill this version of deadpool because he said in an interview that he hated this version of deadpool
bro hands down the absolute cleanest intro to a movie ever bro deadpool walkin in tht room will forever hands down be one of the most dopest scenes ever and top it off he sliced the dam bullet
If you haven’t watched savages it’s really good! It has Taylor Kitsch (gambit) , Aaron Taylor Johnson, and Blake lively. He’s really good in that movie! Amazing cast!
I saw a reaction on another channel a long time ago and she said that Anastheisia WOULD work on Logan with his healing, but the thing is that once he is under though, he wouldnt be able to heal since he would be so relaxed his healing wouldn't come on and the metal insertion would kill him quickly and thus ruin Strykers experiment
Fun Facts from the comics: -The strongest metal is the alloy that Captain America’s shield is made from and it contains vibranium. Adamantium is actually the most successful of the failed attempts to recreate the original alloy and contains no vibranium. -Weapon X’s process is actually an incomplete and very crappy version of a process stolen from a Japanese scientist and cult leader named Kenji Oyama. The only character that has undergone the original process is Bullseye. Oyama aka Lord Darkwind is Lady Deathstrike’s father and is seen at the end of the Daredevil Season 3 finale. -The alloy that will actually put Wolverine down (though not penetrate his skull) like in the movie is carbonadium. That’s the Soviets’ failed attempt to recreate the Captain America alloy and is nearly as strong as adamantium but more malleable. It’s also radioactive, making it largely useless. The radiation from carbonadium bullets impedes Wolverine’s healing.
The only two things bad about this version of Wade Wilson is the results of his transformation having all those extra abilities and Wade being ok with their team killing innocents. Besides that, theres no reason to say that his origins couldn’t be the same as the actual Deadpool movie. Don’t know why the Deadpool movie didn’t just have Striker be the one to promise Wade he would heal his cancer, then brainwash him. The same events could’ve taken place, except instead of killing the antagonist, Striker gets away.
I always wondered if an adamantium bullet is the only thing that can kill Wolverine, then why not give the bullet to Zero? Who is a marksman, and has 1 of the best accuracy in all of Marvel 🤷♂️
Ok to clarify to Shoshanna and vince the reason why ryan Reynolds is in this movie is because in fact he is deadpool but the thing is he was born a human never as a mutant he became a mutant and acquire his regeneration powers after they did some experiments with his body contaminating him with some sort of thing i don't remember the name of it but that's what happened to him and the reason he is still human in this movie
Now that we have 3 Deadpool movies that are faithful to his comic version I feel like people should finally be able to like this version of Deadpool since now he's a varient of him, I consider this version of Deadpool (and this movie) to be in its own "marvel ruins" type of universe
#theperfectmixx 6 down 7 to go In X-Men: First Class, Before he was Professor X, he was Charles (James McAvoy) Before he was Magneto, he was Erik (Michael Fassbender) Before they were enemies, they were allies Taylor Kitsch's character name is Remy LeBeau aka Gambit
This is a great movie! I hope you guys don't fall for that some people say , that this movie is super bad. And thats not the True. But it alot of sheep, hating on this movie because someone with Critics says it's a bad film. And not giving this movie a chance by truly watch it. I can see that maybe the girlfriend here ,may have been one of those sheep unfortunately. But the boyfriend understands that this movie was really cool! But I heve faith that she will come around soon! Lol... Great review guys! 👍🏾
This is not linked to the other Deadpool. This Deadpool being done so horribly, is what made Ryan Reynolds want to do the character justice in the new movies.
Now I'm watching you nearly 1 Year, we was looking the whole MCU "together", but here maybe new Ideas for you both. All 4 Undiputed Movies with Yuri Boyka and one of mine favorite is Never back down. maybe u will watch one of them one day! Have a great time guys!
People say this movie is so bad it destroyed Taylor Kitsch's (Gambit) career, but i actually grew to like it. It took me a while to get it, but i think this is the movie that best portrays the Wolverine (besides Logan ofc) unfortunately the action scenes are shot like a saturday morning cartoon and of course that's the only thing people remember about it, but this movie perfectly captures the tragedy of the character, even when i watched it for the first time as a kid, by the end of it i was like "damn that's so fkd up, that's so sad" and it was only the beginning of his journey
Yea Deadpool has a different origin here. The recent Deadpools you already watched to refresh your memory had the origins where he got sick so he got help, they made him immortal but tortured him in the process. Yea this one is a whole different origin.....and one Ryan got really upset about, so he had to change it to the Comic Accurate story.
So. Quick lil rundown for yal cuz I care Wolervine✅ Gambit ✅ Cyclops✅ Saber tooth✅ Blob✅ And a few others I’m not mentioning, but that monstrosity they tried to pass off as dead pool?? We don’t talk about that. This never happened. 💀
I know that officially this film is set in the same universe as the original 3 films but, I place it in its own separate universe. The reason being is Sabretooth. He has a completely different look, personality and history with Wolverine. I know Logan wouldn't remember him, but wouldn't he remember Logan?
This is not the same deadpool from the other movies its more like a variant but with the same actor also if you guys watch the post credit scene from Deadpool 2 it’s a scene where he goes back in time and changes some of the timelines and also goes back to this part 33:31 and kills himself and it also leads to the new one coming out

Now that we have 3 Deadpool movies that are faithful to his comic version I feel like people should finally be able to like this version of Deadpool since now he's a varient of him, I consider this version of Deadpool (and this movie) to be in its own "marvel ruins" type of universe
I wouldn't go to jasper or nothin like that rn. Fires rolled through
We're all waiting for them fast movies
#theperfectmixx 6 down 7 to go
In X-Men: First Class,
Before he was Professor X, he was Charles (James McAvoy)
Before he was Magneto, he was Erik (Michael Fassbender)
Before they were enemies, they were allies
Taylor Kitsch's character name is Remy LeBeau aka Gambit
Not calling MERRY, SAMWISE lmaooooo
My favorite movie of all time
This movie has it's own video game
And did he ever do the character justice
@@robertcook5049yes, both Deadpool movies and killing this one in the credits of the seconds Deadpool movie
@@robertcook5049 absolutely lmao
@@Gverreir0 no one could've done it better i love the jab at this deadpool with the action figure
Now I'm watching you nearly 1 Year, we was looking the whole MCU "together", but here
maybe new Ideas for you both. All 4 Undiputed Movies with Yuri Boyka and one of mine favorite is Never back down.
maybe u will watch one of them one day! Have a great time guys!
Hope you two are having an great and awesome day ❤
You guys gotta react to X-Men: First Class and The Wolverine
Let’s go!!! been waiting for this one
The comic is a much more satisfying and cohesive origin story I think
they did gambit dirty in this movie...hes soo strong and logan hit him with the back punch? no sir
After the adamantiam injection it does remind me of a terminator, the full metal skelington covered in skin, extremely strong and powerful
Are you talking about the T1000
@@brandonleftwich4225 t800 or whatever Arnold's is
can confirm, banff is one of the prettiest places on earth
Banff is an absolutely beautiful place. Cheers.
Before you even said it, I can see the resemblance.
In Comic " Weapon X" It's really More Violent Than Movies and Best Writting !!!!
Logan's mother going for Canada's worst mother of all time award. "What are you?"
21:17 Wait 'till you see "Logan"...
He's a soldier named (Wade Wilson) at this point.
So. Quick lil rundown for yal cuz I care
Wolervine✅
Gambit ✅
Cyclops✅
Saber tooth✅
Blob✅
And a few others I’m not mentioning, but that monstrosity they tried to pass off as dead pool?? We don’t talk about that. This never happened. 💀
In case you didn’t know the guy throwing cards at Logan is Gambit who later becomes an X-men
Wolverine was in civil war world War 1 and 2 he also was in the Koran war also he also was in many wars after that and he's 200 years old
I know that officially this film is set in the same universe as the original 3 films but, I place it in its own separate universe.
The reason being is Sabretooth. He has a completely different look, personality and history with Wolverine. I know Logan wouldn't remember him, but wouldn't he remember Logan?
Cheetos out of a coffee filter is hilarious
This is not the same deadpool from the other movies its more like a variant but with the same actor
also if you guys watch the post credit scene from Deadpool 2 it’s a scene where he goes back in time and changes some of the timelines and also goes back to this part 33:31 and kills himself and it also leads to the new one coming out
21:21
me too, vince, me fucking too man
that scene had me heated
You guys know who is Wade Wilson is
@34:25 "Go left" 😂😂😂
Finally more x men ! ❤
Technically Wade is Deadpool with the humor they gave him
