i think they intend for one unit to be better than the other so they drop an instant counter to it. But they forgot that when a gohan drops, he's always the better unit.

That scene was made for the comeback mechanic Golden Frieza has. Once God Goku is defeated he reverts to base and yells "I'm not gonna let you destroy my world" then goes SSJ and goes ham on the opponent and you continue the fight as a SSJ. Makes perfect sense to me.

Honestly part 2's units are the best units for 1v3s I've been 1v3d by Godku and I've 1v3d with Gohan
I'm 1v3 using godku against gohan, gogeta, and vegito who got a double rush and won 😭

you having both of the first slots green for the new equip shows how hard it is to get a red slot on that damn equip, i swear i went through 400k blue rush medals before i just gave up and settled for a high green
I run this same team (with a different bench) and Beerus at high stars is CRAZY. I’ve seen him one shot an Ultra Gohan before. ULTRA GOHAN.
Godku is way better than i thought ngl, would place him in top 10-8

I actually don't get how legends choose it's typings. How can you release a green unit then 2 purple units who are better right after. Who is actually going to run God Goku if they wanna get to a high rank against 14 star Ultra Gogeta. I understand a certain team may have not had a new unit of a certain type in a while but whats the point if we can't play them. (I quit this game a year ago but idk why I still watch Rai. Probably because he's a SWE and that inspires me).
Typings doesn't matter if a unit has consistent type neutrality tbf. Everything godku does gives him type neutrality and his gauge gives him uncancellable type neutral.
