agree with other comments, Fantano didn't get it, i think the 'sloppiness' is part of what i really like about this track, sounds like a real drummer and 2 real guitarists playing in a room, they could have quantized and tuned it all to give it that digital makeover that people think sounds good these days, but that would have taken away the human element, which i know i always need to hear in a track to like it. Great unique riffs, great arrangement, great production, dug it.
Valid points but totally off the mark with the “back in my day emo and math rock were separate and it’s wrong for them to be together” Sounds like some fucking boomer opposing gay marriage
@@starstudentjake2996 I'm mostly talking about the delivery and sonics. The way it goes from the lightly treated electric to heavier riffs/power chords after the intro. The vocals being a bit unstable and crack-y. It reminds me a lot of Apartment. I'll grant you this: I haven't dived deep into their catalog and I'm not strongly familiar with the genre outside of them, nor am I familiar with math rock as a genre. I just overstated my point for comedic effect, mostly because I didn't enjoy this song, even though it reminded me of music I did enjoy. Not really trying to insult anyone, just making a joke that, admittedly, is at this band's expense, because I found it amusing.
Came here from the fantano vid but really like this honestly.

Did you mention the only emoish band you know because this is literally nothing like MOBA
@@IsThisMi honestly kinda? again, the part that made the connection was the intro, which reminds me of the intro to apartment
Doesn’t even sounds like them, just wanted to be negative in a randoms comment section, good job
