I am from India & i am her biggest fan . She is currently the best actress in the whole of Asian continent including india, pakistan, bangladesh etc..and one of the best actress globally of all time. The amount of talent and skill set she possess is unmatched and unparallelled. She always portrays challenging and out of the box characters with equal ease . Salute to her talent and acting skill. Yumna was an underdog before Bc she was not the Barbie/glamorous type of a girl who would be in limelight for all wrong reasons. She s a tremendously talented actor known and recognized for her acting abilities and is not a star like mahira, who has done very few dramas but is known for her beauty, and glamor, her rampwalks, and modeling and more as a celebrity going to Cannes, etc. yumna is a pure, natural talented actress like Kajol was in Bollywood considered among number one actresses. So finally ppl r noticing for her acting abilities and consider her as a force to reckon with. Way to go, 😋 yumz!

I loved the 'No No No' when he asked if she thought her other dramas were mediocre after Pyar ky sadqy. An actor should own wgat they do instead of complaining about it. She's a live example of 'Work Hard and Silence and let you success be the noise!' An Amazing actor that I am so glad is finally finally getting recignized. Her acting in Ye raha dil was amazing too, do give it a watch if u havent!

Yumna is such a sweetheart. No doubt she is exceptionally talented.
I wish Haroon would go and watch yumna's inkaar, pinjra, ye raha dil, ullu baraye farokht nahi and dar so jati ha Sila. These projects did not get famous as obviously they could not gauge trps due to unique subjects. But yumna is a talented actress who does not even know how to express her success. She was not in the limelight because she is not glamorous or doesn't socialize like rest of the girls in the industry but not once in her career has she been idle. One after the other good character has been offered to her. Also about how women are depicted as bechari in Pakistani dramas just go watch her performances n you will notice that yumna has added dignity to those characters or she has been offered the characters which were really stronger than the others simply bcuz that's how directors and writers n producers see her.
She is in an industry which demands glamour, nakhra, PR but she has refused to leave her stance and look at her today. It makes me beyond happy to see yumna successful she deserves it

Yumna has always played these serious characters so watching her play Mahjabeen had been such a delight!
You could say that some aspects could be called overacting but those very quirks have endeared her to all. Sad to know that she lost her father just a month before she started the project because the series focuses on the father daughter relationship.
Bilal and Yumna are not the stereotypical romantic couple but one does fall in love with them for their utter innocence and goofiness!💝
Btw, she's the spitting image of my niece. They could be mistaken for twins!

My dear you are asking her questions about the trajectory of her character. She has no control how the character is to evolve. Wouldn’t that be a question for the script writer and the director. She is the actress just following the script.

From episode 15 to 24....i think it was a resting time for mahjabeen... as she has been fighting on different fronts... coping with a husband who is involved at other place... then dealing with harasment from father in law,... then trying to cope with a high class family.... too much pressure on her.... that is why she was on back foot... trying to find a middle ground where she can be safe....

Harmon I Completely agree with your comments about the drama. It feels like the writer handed the script off to someone else after episode 12. It went from a refreshingly different and crisp script to a cluster !

Remember, it's not just a story of Mahjabeen. It is also the story of the growth of Abdullah who has been deliberately supressed throughout his life. He has seen his father treating his mother harshly. He has that childhood trauma. He wants to safeguard his mother. So when his step father enters this whole situation, Abdullah, consciously and sub-conciously, tries his best to keep him happy so that in return his step father may not trouble his mother.
So due to all this background, a character cannot straight away stand up to the bullies and harassment. It needs a bit of learning, understanding and maturity curve. And that will happen.
Now that being said, I know Zanjabeel Asim Shah's writing. She will definitely introduce another mishap or tragedy before the ultimate happy ending 😅

The interviewer has the right questions , well analysed too. The interviewee comes across as not being 'upto the mark', as might have been expected. Slight problem with vocabulary to express her responses (?)
