I think this song is about Luka, who as many people in developed countries nowadays (especially Japan), grew up without parents who would be curious and empathetic towards her, and never have treated her as a separate, respectable person. She grows up without personal boundaries (the ever-expanding domain she tries to master through sheer effort), and vain because she was not loved.
