Buy a polaris slash bumper for a template and just cut your tunnel to match it. The front arm tunnel mount probably just needs re drilled and lowered. Maby add a thin steel plate on the inside so it doesnt woller. Ditch bangin takes a toll on your holes
I have a m8 and would love to put 146 for more trail friendly but the heat exchangers suck it gets hot so fast wish they made a easier way to put bigger coolers under it but having to strip the sled down to just a chassis to do it sucks
Syxxes! I have a 14 m8000 myself, the secondary clutch rubbed a hole in the brake line, I replaced the line I get fluid to the bleeder screw on the caliper but no pressure build up 😭😭
That sucks! You might want to check for leaks in the master cylinder. Sometimes those master cylinders won't take a bleed again and need to be rebuilt or replaced.
So happy I bought a 22 146 alpha! I'll never buy another else! If I go to the hills I'll just rent a 154/165! lol only thing for myself is that I need to do is the riot/ xf cooler
@ oh i easily could! but for the little extra, id rather just go rent a 154 or a 155 boost for the 1-2 times in a winter I'd go, and not worry about if i were to wreck my personal sled, that id wanna ride when i got back home also, not potentially have to fix and mess around setting it back up for 0-3000ft! Totally not that I'd want to purposely go wreck a rental either, but also gives the opportunity to go out and try a different brand in the process! Lol idk that's just my opinion
@@syxxes I know the cooler is longer on the older 12-17's m8's! Hopefully it stays cool without a xf cooler! I could do a whole 70km sled rally with my 13 153 m8 and no snow flap just running the cat scratchers and stay cool! I know it's either a xf cooler or a mtntk extra loop cooler!
I don't think I've had to do one on that leathal weapon you've got. 😆 Pretty standard track swap out for the time. Possibly easier cause you don't gotta deal with the brakes if I remember right
For the people watching a track swap for the first time in this video. Don't believe him! He edited out the two day job and all the cursing/swearing that goes with it. A rear suspension removal is never that easy but can be done it just sucks when things get hung up.
I just removed my track yesterday and it took about an hour n half, and I've only done it a couple times so I'm slow. Using a bumper lift instead of a sled lift or rolling on it's side makes it easier, as does having the correct snap ring pliers.
@syxxes either way still sweet excited to see what you do with the tunnel I thought about short tracking my 2015 153 to something shorter haven’t tho I have 2 153 m8’s
I think the trihub is a shit design. Besides all the rear axle wheels on the cats are plastic (cheap) when they get dented, they don't turn true anymore. What happened to normal rubber wheels like the rest of the skid? I changed mine to rubber. Last longer.
The anti slash tunnel is awesome. More room for Milwaukee pack outs.
The anti-slash tunnel lol xD
He brought back the music!
🎉😮
Load up the sleds !
Let’s goooooooooo !!!!!!
Move your rear skid mount to the middle hole
I hope we get to see this in the deep pow haha, looks cool

Yeah thats exactly what I was thinking is drilling out that front skid mount hole. I'm gonna lower the back first cause that mayyy fix it
Love me a Zuk 800
What do you have covering the RH side panel opening? I'm sick of finding the MAG side filled in with snow.
I don't even know if they make em anymore. Sun and Snow used to have em.
Just do some wheelies and the tunnel will self clearance 😅 maybe end up looking like jesse james hat😅
Nice video, i watch al your stuff. I am thinking about puting a alfa skid in a xf, think its possible?
Yeah the skid is basically drop in. The geometry and ride height might change a little.
I have a m8 and would love to put 146 for more trail friendly but the heat exchangers suck it gets hot so fast wish they made a easier way to put bigger coolers under it but having to strip the sled down to just a chassis to do it sucks
Yeah, I might find an XF cooler and drop it in if this machine just isn't saying cool. But gonna try some other stuff out first!
@@syxxes850 scratchers on my 18 m8000 have been good even over unwanted ice roads
Sick I think you need a rogue concepts bumper🤷🏻♂️
It's gonna need somethin!

@ the M/C was totally dry by the time I got back to the house with it, I was wondering the same!
Left gearing the same?
That things is a little FUGLY now! May as well put ape hangers on it, LOL. I'm sure you'll get it sorted ! 🤔
Well it does need new handle bars 🤔
You mentioned a after market chain tensioner what brand did you use ??
I'm pretty sure it's a Wolftech product. Royal Distributing had them.

Why cant you just take the 146 to the hills?

Yeah if this thing isn't staying cool.the way I want, I'll have to track down an XF cooler for sure.

Been trying to find 141 rails so I can do this to my 12 153 m8
Took me a while to track down a used set. Cat had them backordered forever.
I want to do a track swap on my 2004 King Cat... change out that POS Attack 20 for a Power Claw. Is it as easy as on your ProClimb?

Imgonnaleaveit! 😆
Honestly upset that you didn’t twin rail the turbo
When that thing is up for replacement as my main sled, maybe we'll do something fun like that!

Cut that tunnel please it’s hurting my eyes
