I do know an another version: Instead of getting very close to him you try to get in a 180° angle and then you pull him over. Since I know this I don't know which version is better.. I have it from someon who trained with remco pardoel but I guess you, as an olympic athlet, have also your convenience about your techniques :D

It's not that easy the opponent is smart and strong, I learned the "bridge escape" when I was a kid but it never worked, everyone knows the "bridge escape"
what does it work for strong and smart ? What is the best escape kesa gatame?
