Absolutely love this. Today I graduated college. At 27 I became a widow and became a single mom to a special needs child. I was so angry at God but he never once gave up on me. 5 years later I married a wonderful Christian man, God blessed me with another child and I graduated college. God never gave up on me. He won't give up on you either. He did all those things for a reason. I could not see or understand why God chose me to go through those things but today I see it clearly. I would not be a social worker advocating for children like my daughter.
Ive been reading through these comments and I see mixed responses. Some people are loving the rendition, some are questioning its "holiness". To those people I ask this: What about this song makes it unfit to use for worshipping God? The reasoning I'm seeing from some is that its a secular song by origin. While that's true, how does that make it unworshipful? What WorshipMob did, they heard the words, but they didn't hear some guy/girl singing about leaving someone. They heard a cry that has been a thought on their and our minds more than once. They heard those words and heard the doubt and confusion we sometimes harbor towards God. Heck I'm a worship leader, and sometimes I have doubt; I'm not proud of it, but its going to happen. We all doubt. So when they heard this, they showed us the response that God has for us when we feel these things. Our God will never leave nor forsake us, He will never fail us and he will always be there right beside us backing us up on the journey called life! The second half of this song, it's the way we need to see God. It's not just recycling a melody for a song secular by origin. God doesn't care if we use music like this to worship, because worship is worship! And it's not just confined to music, but is how we live our life! I hope some of my brothers and sisters in Christ who dislike this rendition only because the original wasn't intended for worship reconsider their view on this. I love this song, and I love the musicianship of this group! God has blessed all of you with unending talent! I hope to be a part of what you guys do one day
I agree with you 100% , and thank you , I couldn't have said it any better . God will use anyone and anything he chooses ...they made this song mean something totally different, totally new ...I'm so impressed and blessed by this song . I heard other Christian groups do this to other *secular * songs ...I loved them too . I love anything that glorifies my lord Jesus !
Yes, thank you so much for teaching us youth the true meanings of these songs, although they may not be originally a Christian song, it can be turned into something beautiful in God's eyes
I agree with you Braden Music, as a young Christian sometimes I feel like I have been doing what I'm supposed to be doing, reading my bible, praying to God, living by example but keep hitting walls. People sometimes want to battle with me about my faith and it seems like every day is hard and you sometimes want to ask, "Where are you God, why don't you speak to me, what am I doing wrong " and sometimes even question if God is listening. That is what I hear in the early part of this song. And the answer is abundantly clear, he's always been there, even before we cried out to him, before our weakest moment, before we were even born. He has always been there and always will be! Wonderful rendition of this song.
The first time I heard this song I was in a dark place. I was feeling so alone and away from God, I don't even know how it got onto my play list. One minute I was sad and angry, next minute I felt understood because I was really giving up on God. Then the next part of the song completely changed me. I felt like this song was made specifically for me. I had never heard the original, for me this was the original, and God used it to save me that day.
Thank you for that testimony, Nonhlanhla. I remember when God showed me these words, and I bet He specifically had you (and a few others) in mind. He is an amazing Father & Creator. He is the source of all LOVE & LIFE. Amen. Bless you in Jesus’ Name!
I love this song soo much! This is a type of song you could just meditate to in the presence of God... It brings peace...I will try to listen to this every day! :)
For those who seem not to understand... this song begins in a soliloquy fashion with the completely honest thoughts of someone's heart in regard to a relationship. Though I can't say I've ever "given up on God" in my relationship with Him- I will have to admit there have been several times when I just wanted to hear Him speak to me and agonized over it when it "seemed" He was silent. Part of a young, growing relationship with God is discovering "how to listen" and "how to hear" from God. God is BIG enough for us to voice our frustrations to him. That was one of the first lessons He taught me; that he didn't need me to try and be something/someone I was not- to try and speak just the "right" words in just the "right" way. Rather, He wanted to hear from my heart, just exactly how I felt, exactly where I was in that moment, what were my frustrations, confusion, and all without a filter of something someone else might consider "proper" or "spiritual." In other words, He just wanted to hear "from me." And it was in THAT place where I finally began to learn to actually "hear His voice." For me, I began writing a poem expressing those frustrations and in no uncertain terms. At then end of my words..., His began. He finished the poem by speaking to my heart the words I actually needed to hear from Him at that moment. This song does much the same in the end, in multiple ways to show how God is always there, ready, and willing to speak to us. This song is "raw" and it is real. It is where so many, both Christian and otherwise find themselves today in a world so much in need of God's intervention. If I can't deal with that, how can I be an effective witness of Christ's love, grace, compassion and Truth? This generation is the greatest of all challenges for us who know God to reach. Yet that is the commission He has given us. It isn't about compromise, the dissolution or watering down of the truth of God's Word. It is about reaching people where they are, "hearing" them with God's ear, and finding a way to reach them with His Love. I don't have to take one step back in my faith to do that. On the contrary, my faith is challenged to grow. It isn't about "secular" vs someone's idea of what is "spiritual." It is about being real. God is real. And He meets us all right where we are. The anointing is wherever His Spirit is and upon whatever His Spirit chooses to utilize to perform that ministry, task, work that is needed in a person's life. This song becomes "worship" as does those moments in our lives when God comes in and turns our questions into revelations of Who He really is: a loving God and compassionate Father.
I don't care what any one says. I'm in tears right now. I needed this whole video right now. I have been going through it something terrible lately and even to the point of questioning my faith and belief.
I've always loved this song... but hearing you guys do it - in a worship context its taken a completely new meaning. There have been many seasons when I could not hear from God, when I could not see him anymore... and I was praying that He would just talk to me. Just saying something... Human faith is weak. We WILL give up on God many times. We will lose sight of him many times. The wonderful truth in this song is this: whether we hear him or not, whether we feel him or not -- he is ever pursuing us. He is strong enough to hold us even when all our strength and resolve is gone.
Agatha Xaris Villa amen! you are right, i love god and this song.my mom dosent really want me to hear those songs, cause it lyrus will bring me away from god,but in the case i love god more.say something
"Say Something" Say something I'm giving up on you I'll be the one if you want me to Anywhere I would have followed you Say something I'm giving up on you And I, I'm feeling so small It was over my head And I'm nothing at all And I, will stumble and fall I'm still learning to love Just starting to crawl Say something I'm giving up on you I'm sorry that I couldn't get to you Anywhere I would have followed you Say something I'm giving up on you I will swallow my pride You're the one that I love, and I'm saying goodbye Say something I'm giving up on you I'm sorry that I couldn't get to you Anywhere I would have followed you Say something I'm giving up on you Say something I'm giving up on you Say something... Joshua 1:9 Matthew 11:28-29 Romans 8:14-15 Psalm 2:7 Luke 15:18-24 I am a good Father, I know you and I promise, you can hear my voice. The world is so noisy, sometimes you have trouble finding My voice in the crowd and the commotion of life. But if you would let Me quite your heart, My voice will reach you. I will cut through the loudness, the tremendous volume and the great racket the world keeps clamouring around with. I am the gentle whisper inside you. Can you hear Me? Can you hear My constant love beating inside you as close as the hear beating in your chest? I am here. Settle your heart, rest in My love and hear Me calling to you. I am calling your name. I've been watching you child Still learning to love Just starting to crawl And I am waiting here now Will you open your heart I've been here all along You say "I'm not giving up on you!" You say "I'm still running after you! Everywhere, I've been there with you! Child, I will never give up on you!" (x2) Child, I will never give up on you. Child, I have given my heart to you. Child, I have given my heart to you. Child, I will never give up on you.
I cannot count how many secular things that God has used to give me messages, sometimes to preach, sometimes to see Him. If 1 person comes to know God through this version, then I believe God is thrilled with it! If it ministers and is not contrary...Worship Mob your music blesses me and obviously many others, keep up His work and remember it is Him who makes it great!!!
In all humility, I didn't even know this was a secular song, but I'm in agreement with the brother who rightly spoke that John and Charles Wesley wrote hymns to bar tunes to reach the lost. Pharisees got upset with Jesus "for eating with tax collectors and sinners," Matthew 9:9-13. Brothers and sisters, let us follow Him Who took on flesh and walked among us to reconcile us to the Father...a Father Who loved the world so much He sent His Son into the world not to condemn the world but so that the world might be saved through Him (John 3:16-17). Shalom!
Absolutely beautiful WorshipMob. The quartet at my church sang this yesterday. The first half I was baffled like Roberta, but yes...second half explains all! Fantabulous to say the least!! Praise be to God...who NEVER will give up on us! May He continue to bless you with songs that will bring Him praise, and encourage His children. Thanks so much!
Oh my goodness, so beautiful! And transparent! My heart was crying out to Jesus through this entire song. Such beautiful blessings from God. You glorify His Holy Name in such a way! Thank You Father! Hallelujah!
So many times I told GOD that I was giving up on him in my anger and understanding of his perfect love. He NEVER gave up on me! Praise GOD for HE IS worthy of praise!.
i like this. We do not have enough songs that are laments/anger songs. If you read the psalms (Israel's hymnal) there are many psalms that echo the feeling of "God where are you?" of frustration and longing and sadness. using this song in this way is brilliant.
Couldn't have said it better myself. David poured out his heart in a way that would definitely be frowned upon in today's churches.. but he was a man hungry for the voice and the heart of God.
God never leaves our side. That's what I take from the song. He continuously calls and runs after us. Revelation 3:20 Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me. To be apart of a forever family knowing no end. He is my peace.
WOW. I've read the comments, but I watched it for myself and it brought me to tears. This video is what so many people feel on a daily basis. They are questioning God, feeling alone, saying God where are you? I don't hear you? Then you introduce them to scripture, and lead them to the question they are yearning to know in their hearts. I'm a firm believer in God, but also that we have to meet people where they are. You just did that with this video. Amazing. You've got a new fan here.
We are three generations that love WorshipMob! I am the grandfather, our two daughters (44 & 45) and our 22 year old granddaughter love to worship our Jesus with WorshipMob. John & Charles Wesley wrote many of their hymns to the tunes of the current, "secular", "bar-tunes" of their day.
I had no idea this was a secular song...God sees our hearts and I do not feel bad listening to a song that was Change to worship our OUR KING. ..I LOVE THIS SONG...
Wow!!!! I cried thru this whole song. Feeling so broken today and I really needed this!!! God's love never leaves us. He is always here to hold us. I'm so thankful for that!
I can feel the presence of God as they begin to speak the encouraging words of God. The message of the song means so much to me, as well as it's transition to the heart of God throughout the song. God loves us all. 💞
Please, before any one thinks about getting offended by this song because it originated as secular. At 3:30 is an extended scripture session answering any complaints. Hear out the art, it is very spiritual.
At the beginning the song threw me off and I question the purpose but then I said to myself: "I have said this words so many times to God". Even thought He was so close to me I felt He was very far away. When we face difficult times it is hard to hear the voice of God so this song just gave me a new meaning. I understand that no matter what I express to God in those moments of desperation or doubt He will never leave me nor He will forsake me. Thank you for letting the spirit guide you to record this song. I know God will open a lot of people's hearts. I pray He does!
Thank you Worship Mob... When going through a difficult time, I discovered this song for me. Then I showed it to my son and it moved him to get help for his abddiction, He then shared it with other addicts. You have made a difference in these lives.
Sometimes it is only when people lose faith in everything else..and in their own abilities that they realize they can do nothing without Him. That is sometimes the moment where the walls of our heart open enough to let Him love us. The song is beautiful because it shows real passion, from real people..who may not always have the right answers. Sometimes there are no answers, but just His Presence. Sometimes the only strength we have is just from knowing He is "I Am". It is when we are so desperate for one touch, one Word from Him...that we will forsake anything and push through any crowd to get to Him. It does not matter if you have known Him your entire life..or have never really heard His voice at all. He is still there waiting.
I thank God how he never gives up on us. The Lord will never give up on you, he will speak to you, stand still & know Jesus is calling your name, & he loves you with an everlasting love. Jesus will never give up on you, you are precious in his sight.
The first part shows our humanity and it's weaknesses, then afterwards reading the bible texts, there's a spiritual insight on how our heavenly Father sees each individual weakness and calls it the shot...then we realize our own individual weaknesses....good song guys and girls!
Unable to sleep, feeling weary God led me here...I know it in my heart and I have been tremendously blessed by this version. May our Lord Jesus Christ continue to use each of you for His glory. #blessedbeyondmeasure
i think there are times that people were so problematic and they are questioning God what's happening in their lives. That's why, on this song, i see it as people who were burdened and giving up on God. But then, God is always there. He never left. He is faithful. He hear our cries. He loves. :)
I could say right now that this song is helping me go through a really deep valley in my life. God bless you for singing this song. I'm holding the second part close to mystery heart.
it cannot be better. better than the x-factor rendition of last year. I pray those who have denied God will come to accept Him again. He is waiting for all of us. Oh my God, this rendition sends me to heaven
I had no idea this was ever a secular song. Listening to this for the first time it reminds me of everytime I doubt God and his plans He reminds me He has everything under control and I can never outrun his love and mercy.
Joshua 1:9 Matthew 11:28-30 Roman 8:14-15 Psalm 2:7 Luke 17-24 "I am a good Father. I know you. And I promise, you can hear My voice. The world is so noisy, sometimes you have trouble finding My voice in the crowd and the commotion of life. But if you will let Me quiet your heart, My voice will reach you. I will cut through the loudness, the tremendous volume, and the great racket the world keeps clamoring around with. I am the gentle whisper inside you. Can you hear Me? Can you hear My constant love, beating inside you as close as the heart beating in your chest? I am here! Settle your heart. Rest in My love. And hear Me calling to you. I am calling your name."
I just wanted to say that we are all redeemed and we have all come short of the glory of God but also redemption is what Christ is all about. He came to make things new even a secular song can be redeemed for his purpose. He is the God of ALL things and he can and will reach us through anything because he is always trying to seek us out. I love this song because I have been there wondering where God is, and this song really captured how it feels to wait to hear his voice and only feel silence but in our stillness and our waiting on him and our giving up to rely on him we will hear him. Thank you so much for listing to God and doing what he says you guys are a blessing to me and many many others.
This song would be perfect for capturing David/Solomon's despair when they sinned before God... and all the while the Holy Spirit is reaching out to them =') As for mixing secular songs and worship songs, I say : If you find $50 and $100 lying on the street side by side which do you pick up? If you said "Both." then have no complaints, but praise God that we have additional tools to use to reach out... sure, isolating ourselves in our safe christian bubble might please the religious spirit in us, "dont touch me, lest u defile me" attitude.. but it will make us completely ineffective as God's ambassadors.. For every sad secular song, there is a cry out for the Father deep inside..
I love what you said here....This whole comment thread is awesome. It is showing that there ARE other ways of coming to Christ, to the others who have no understanding of what the whole point of this song is about.... And really, is it about the "Song"? Why is it that they have to judge these ppl? They are helping ppl that are lost. Hey....If it takes a secular song, turned around by GOD, to reach out to the lost? Then, GO FOR IT..... WorshipMob, yall are amazing, and I am soooo .....WoW. There are no words how I feel right now. And many of us on this thread feel the same way, Im sure lol. kaitachi I love the last sentence you said in the above comment. Thank you....
Dear friend, I know you're tired. I know you're hurting. But trust me when I tell you that God is still there for you. Isaiah 46:4 - "And even to your old age I am he; and even to hoar hairs will I carry you: I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you." Nobody loves you more than our Heavenly Father and His Son Christ. I was at my worst when I met the best - Jesus Christ. Ever since He came into my life, I have never been the same. Through the storm and through the calm I hold onto the Lord my God and I trust Him. Truly I testify to you He has never failed me, even when things didn't go my way, He still didn't fail me. Hold onto Him, no matter what happens, and always remember that for as long as you're in Christ, you're victorious and the only time we lose is when we let go of God, because that's exactly what the devil wants us to do. Keep fighting the good fight but don't fight alone, let God fight for you and thank Him for what He's about to do. Seek Him always and have faith like Hannah's. Look, she was barren, it was impossible for her to conceive but she had faith and God blessed her for it! She conceived and gave birth to Samuel the prophet. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. Refuse to doubt and trust in the One who loves you more than anyone else ever could - The Lord Jesus Christ. Look at the samaritan woman! She was so tired of chasing after waters that ended up leaving her thirsty, but Christ told her "Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.". And He later told her "I Am He.". He's all you need. All you could ever need. Trust Him and be obedient to Him, knowing that He has a reason for everything that He does and that He is with you no matter what you're going through. You're not alone. Psalm 23 - "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. 3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. 4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. 5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. 6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever." God bless you. 🙏🏻❤🙂✝💕🙌
amazing job! Worshiping God is shown in different ways and no one has the power to say it is or isn't worshiping God. That is God's job. Your band is doing amazing things for people! Keep it up!
Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from you. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward you. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.”
Sometimes we have stuff that makes us feel that if God is real then 'WHY'? Hurt, pain, hate, addictions, lies, loss are all things we deal with and sometimes I have sat on my own and asked God to talk to me. I know with all my heart that God is more real and loving and never leaves me. God is saying things to me in His words, His Son and His Spirit. I just have to listen. I am only human and look at things that God sees so differently. That's what this song means to me anyway. Jesus said troubles will come but take heart.....
it's actually "for whom" you sing this song to. If it's for your lover, then it's fine. if it's for your God, it's fine. it's your heart that decides, nothing else. It's my opinion ^^
I am in complete love with Worshipmob. I praise our God with them every night. Their cover of "Say Something" moves me so much! The musicians did such a beautiful job. And the huggy bear in the finale I'd phenomenal👍🙏🏻.
especially your second part, when god speak to us, is soooo great, .... very very deep to my soul - this words are at the time with Covid 19 so important for this planet and its human beings - a great text writer, a great idea .... your voices, your mixing .... always wonderful .... Thanks from my soul to you
It is good to know that we are sons and daughters of a Father who loves us. And no matter what we have done or will do that will never change. We may give up on ourselves, but He will never give up on us. Our loves may grow weary for Him, but His love is deeper and wider, and never grows weary. As we enter into this Holy Week and remember what the Son of God did for us, let us never forget that one of the huge things Jesus did was to open the door for us to be true sons and daughters so that we could live out of that identity instead of remaining in slavery to sin, death, and satan.
While this song is originally a secular song. But Worship Mob used it for good and used the message as a a song to bless people and the spirit really moves with this song. God can take broken pieces and use it for his kingdom
A great big world wrote this song talking to God. The true meaning of the song is someone starting to doubt God and that's not a song against Christians. It is something every Christian has went through and is expressed very well. Perfectly. After seeing how everyone took it being about love he decided to just keep it that way in the video and just let people take it how they take it. People saying it is "unholy" because it's a song meant for non believers? It was meant for anyone and is is not a bad song. People saying that are just ignorant.
This is an amazing song. God truly inspired the changes made from the original version for you guys. To think that soo many people around the world could be searching for the original and have this pop up as well and maybe clicked because they want to hear another version is definitely inspirational. To think that people that are lost right now not knowing what they are looking for and finding it in this song alone that may lead to other songs by WorshipMob and Hillsong etc is awesome! To my fellow Christ followers dont be soo judgemental after all God has called us to reach out to those who need Him and this is one way to do so. Much love in Christ and blessings from the Almighty (:
This version has broke me down and turned me inside out many times during my struggle with addiction and faith. When I'm worst in my addiction I am lowest in my faith and this version and beautiful words spoken always give me hope and courage that I can and will get better and God is with me the whole time im just not listening.. Thanks worshipmob
Prone to wander, Lord, I feel it. Prone to leave the God I love. Been there. Done that. Ran so far away that I ran right back into His arms. If more people realized that God is big enough to handle our disbelief (didn't come as any shock to Him) maybe the enemy wouldn't tempt so many to despair and take their own lives. It wasn't until I went through the darkest part of my life, when I felt He had forsaken me, that I realized I ought not trust my *feelings*. After He restored me, I realized He not only was the closest to me, He was actually holding me in His arms. (much like the *Footprints* poem) When I am back to doubting again, I run back to Him and sometimes all I can pray is " LORD, I don't know You well enough to KNOW, REALLY KNOW that YOU are ALL I need. "
Jill ahug wow reading this really impacted my life may God continue to bless you and lift you farther into His presence. Thank you for being a courageous daughter.
Those words about God being my rest where exactly what I need, I believe that this, this glorious worship is from the heart of God and when I see the comments I can understand the point of everyone when they say that this song maybe is part of the world but nothing is impossible to God and His plans are strange but they also are great so awesome work you guys. This song always get me on the presence of God when the simple words "I am your father"
This is AMAZING I used to cry hearing original song cause it reminded me of pain I had in my life .....NOW im crying cause of knowing God NEVER gave up on me even when I was giving up ... I THANK YOU so much for this remake i so needed it......
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. This originally may have been a secular song, but now it can be used as a cross-over song. Just as David Wesley said, if anyone hears this, a seed will have been planted. Edifying, bringing glory and honor to the Kingdom of God.
This is incredible ! God is using you guys in such a great way . Its a better version of the original and it touches my heart. May God bless you all and continue to use your lives tremendously ! Thank you so much for this song
WOW! This has literally blown me away. I was at work and I felt the love of God take over, I had to step away from my desk because I could not contain the presence of God. I was in the bathroom on my knees weeping because God continued to pour out His love and goodness. You guys have such a special anointing. I pray the Lord continues to use you. I thank God for you guys. I was able to experience such a beautiful moment with the Lord. Thanks again!!!
A year ago I probably would have just said this was wrong. But now my mind has changed. My question is, instead of is it right or wrong, but does it bring life? Yes, this song brings life! There is so much brokenness in he world and this is just truth if the Father released. It really uncomplicates things!
we have strayed from God path we have wanted a word from the Lord an wondered if He's heard us...the Father hasn't given up on you arise an walk again!!!!God loves you he's waiting for you to come back to him
This song moves me to tears. The duet is so passionate. I love how you read from the Bible in between. It makes the verses powerful in the context of the music.
Sounds a lot like this: Psa 13:1-6 (A psalm by David for the music leader.) How much longer, LORD, will you forget about me? Will it be forever? How long will you hide? (2) How long must I be confused and miserable all day? How long will my enemies keep beating me down? (3) Please listen, LORD God, and answer my prayers. Make my eyes sparkle again, or else I will fall into the sleep of death. (4) My enemies will say, "Now we've won!" They will be greatly pleased when I am defeated. (5) I trust your love, and I feel like celebrating because you rescued me. (6) You have been good to me, LORD, and I will sing about you. (Contemporary English Version)
I don't think this wrong at all. If your heart implies this song with a godly intent, I don't see what the big problem is? I believe that these people took this worldly song and cleansed it with the spirit. None of you can judge someone else for worshipping differently to you. What if I told you that your way of worshipping is incorrect and blasphemous? Stop being so judgemental all you religious souls. Leave that for God to do. Well done on the rendition of this song. Was so moving!
Sometimes in our walk with the Lord we want to give up. And sometimes God sits back and waits to see how desperate we are to pursue Him during our trails and testing times. The way they are singing this song and conveying the words is a person that is in the brim of giving up...so God speaks back to the person stating what they just said and how He has been there all the time. God's love is unconditional, irrevocable and never ending. Thank you Jesus!
At first, I was thinking.....not sure what I feel about this, I mean, what if the writers of the song didn't intend for it to be used for this purpose, how does that seem "right"? I still don't know how I feel about that, however, then it dawned on me...that's kind of the point of music right, to mean different things to different people. I am not a Christian but after listening the whole song through, I get it. Very nicely done and it just shows how transient and fluid music can be. Very clever. :-)
+James Mercer I guess I like how transferrable the "ethos" of the piece is...yeah, I agree with you. Regardless of religious persuasion, hope is hope right?
You guys are a bridge to people's heart and God. I just felt the Lord touched my heart in the midst of the video. The bible verses are so powerful. Thank you so much. Please continue to bring people to God through worship. God bless you guys!
Oh He DOES. Some day you will understand. Care involves choice - freedom to decide. I’m sorry for what has happened to you, but God loves and will redeem every broken thing. Every. One.

Wonderful rendition of this song.
long review
Why didn’t they change the words then?
Wow. Very beautiful and anointed. Brought tears to my eyes
Let us pray for those 16+ who like this. Salvation for them. In Jesus name, Amen
Glad this could bless you and turn your heart back to the Father who keeps loving you ❤
Everything was created BY Him, FOR, Him, and THROUGH Him, everything, including this song.
Amen🙌🙏

amen!
you are right, i love god and this song.my mom dosent really want me to hear those songs, cause it lyrus will bring me away from god,but in the case i love god more.say something
"Say Something"
Say something I'm giving up on you
I'll be the one if you want me to
Anywhere I would have followed you
Say something I'm giving up on you
And I, I'm feeling so small
It was over my head
And I'm nothing at all
And I, will stumble and fall
I'm still learning to love
Just starting to crawl
Say something I'm giving up on you
I'm sorry that I couldn't get to you
Anywhere I would have followed you
Say something I'm giving up on you
I will swallow my pride
You're the one that I love,
and I'm saying goodbye
Say something I'm giving up on you
I'm sorry that I couldn't get to you
Anywhere I would have followed you
Say something I'm giving up on you
Say something I'm giving up on you
Say something...
Joshua 1:9
Matthew 11:28-29
Romans 8:14-15
Psalm 2:7
Luke 15:18-24
I am a good Father, I know you and I promise, you can hear my voice.
I've been watching you child
Still learning to love
Just starting to crawl
And I am waiting here now
Will you open your heart
I've been here all along
You say "I'm not giving up on you!"
You say "I'm still running after you!
Everywhere, I've been there with you!
Child, I will never give up on you!"
(x2)
Child, I will never give up on you.
Child, I have given my heart to you.
Child, I have given my heart to you.
Child, I will never give up on you.
Fidel Carapaica do you happen to know where the last quote (after the bible verses ) is from?
God bless! 💕🕊✨
I wish I could have this reply. I cant copy and paste it
I cannot count how many secular things that God has used to give me messages, sometimes to preach, sometimes to see Him.
Hallelujah!
For those who are disappointed remember Jesus turns many things around for his good
seen this a thousand times, makes me cry every time.
Me too
Love you Pamela ❤ from us and from Father God
Outstanding! This world is fickle and degrades love into what is merely convenient in the moment, but you're never abandoned by our Real Father.
Everytime I am at a lose I come here and find peace. 10 years later!!!!!
I personally believe that we don't need secular music to reach people when we have God's word to reach out to them.
@2018 June anybody? Thats a peace full song
I cried. 😭 not because I’m sad.
On this day 4/18/14, this video ministered to me, and G_D spoke....Thank You...
One of my favorite worship ...
Sing it as you are singing to the Father and he responds
I love you my God and Savior 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
I think that most - not all - but most people that are broken, looking for a ??? reason to go on, will get this song.
This is a we’ll preformed Godly Cover of this Song✝️
He loves. :)
The prodigal son....well done worship mob
thanks for putting this up
welcome
Perhaps you might also like my version? Let me know what you think of it. :)
My eyelashes are wet, my heart is so pure with so much love ❤️💕🩵
I could say right now that this song is helping me go through a really deep valley in my life. God bless you for singing this song. I'm holding the second part close to mystery heart.
it cannot be better. better than the x-factor rendition of last year. I pray those who have denied God will come to accept Him again. He is waiting for all of us. Oh my God, this rendition sends me to heaven
Still listening. Blessings!
I had no idea this was ever a secular song. Listening to this for the first time it reminds me of everytime I doubt God and his plans He reminds me He has everything under control and I can never outrun his love and mercy.
Joshua 1:9
Matthew 11:28-30
Roman 8:14-15
Psalm 2:7 Luke 17-24
"I am a good Father.
I NEEDED this right at this moment I found it. Thank you so much. Such a blessing.
This song would be perfect for capturing David/Solomon's despair when they sinned before God... and all the while the Holy Spirit is reaching out to them =')
As for mixing secular songs and worship songs, I say : If you find $50 and $100 lying on the street side by side which do you pick up?
The fact that some comments are negative is probly because your living a negative life. Dope song and dope mob
Dear friend, I know you're tired. I know you're hurting. But trust me when I tell you that God is still there for you. Isaiah 46:4 - "And even to your old age I am he; and even to hoar hairs will I carry you: I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you."
Nobody loves you more than our Heavenly Father and His Son Christ.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever."
God bless you. 🙏🏻❤🙂✝💕🙌
amazing job!
God is my forever companion, savior,my everything. Live in the quiet and you will hear from him.
This song gives me hope
it's actually "for whom" you sing this song to.
One of the greatest song and version on this earth. Thanks for this!
especially your second part, when god speak to us, is soooo great, .... very very deep to my soul - this words are at the time with Covid 19 so important for this planet and its human beings - a great text writer, a great idea .... your voices, your mixing .... always wonderful .... Thanks from my soul to you

Wow...this is it. This is what I have been feeling for the last year. What a beautiful song! Thank you so much for posting this. I needed this.
Amen!
While this song is originally a secular song. But Worship Mob used it for good and used the message as a a song to bless people and the spirit really moves with this song. God can take broken pieces and use it for his kingdom
This reaches deep. Thank You Jesus for not giving up on me or anyone ever. I love You Lord. I love You.♥️
This deserves many views! Spread the Word of God with this pop song!
The drummer is so real. Can't think of a word for his drumming. Unbelievable
Jesus !!! I am sixty nine and cried.
This song is what I needed today,
Brought me to tears.
It was a frustrating week.
This is such a sincere cry of the heart and an even greater response from the Father.
Such anointing on this song!! The Lord is looking for sons and daughters to come back home....
Im not sure what song this was taken from but it's pure....real.... and well done!!! To GOD be ALL the glory!!! I need a God hug. . LOVE IT!!!!!!!!❤
Keeping it 100. Praise God "o"
(much like the *Footprints* poem)
When I am back to doubting again, I run back to Him and sometimes all I can pray is
" LORD, I don't know You well enough to KNOW, REALLY KNOW that YOU are ALL I need. "
Amen
Beautiful Secular Song. I was deeply moved. Thank you WorshipMob. I have worship buddies at home. Thank you all for your life.
i love the spin off on the song... the opening showed a lack of hope...yet the ending shows there is hope and a faithful God....
This is SO POWERFUL, so full of the love of our Beautiful Father. I'm crying...
Just LOVE. I just felt the LOVE of the Father for me in this song. Thank You, Lord! Anointed worship. Thank God for WorshipMob.
Sounds a lot like this:
Psa 13:1-6 (A psalm by David for the music leader.) How much longer, LORD, will you forget about me? Will it be forever? How long will you hide? (2) How long must I be confused and miserable all day? How long will my enemies keep beating me down? (3) Please listen, LORD God, and answer my prayers. Make my eyes sparkle again, or else I will fall into the sleep of death. (4) My enemies will say, "Now we've won!" They will be greatly pleased when I am defeated. (5) I trust your love, and I feel like celebrating because you rescued me. (6) You have been good to me, LORD, and I will sing about you.
(Contemporary English Version)
Then why didn’t they use the psalm?
Send me this in some manner where I can read the whole text/story please.
@@Phillip6969-c1g do you not have a Bible?
I don't think this wrong at all. If your heart implies this song with a godly intent, I don't see what the big problem is? I believe that these people took this worldly song and cleansed it with the spirit. None of you can judge someone else for worshipping differently to you. What if I told you that your way of worshipping is incorrect and blasphemous? Stop being so judgemental all you religious souls. Leave that for God to do. Well done on the rendition of this song. Was so moving!
I’m listening to this song by you all 9 year’s later! Great Job and I’m still amazed 🙏 December 2, 2023 💜
Lord, cause us to listen to You today, to stop and take a moment with You, heart to heart so we may hear Your Voice. Jesus. Let it be so.
+Naida Alvarado well spoken....
I just cant stop crying... Thankyou Jesus!:)
You guys are a bridge to people's heart and God. I just felt the Lord touched my heart in the midst of the video. The bible verses are so powerful. Thank you so much. Please continue to bring people to God through worship. God bless you guys!
If only God cared about us as much as some of us care for each other.
Oh He DOES. Some day you will understand. Care involves choice - freedom to decide. I’m sorry for what has happened to you, but God loves and will redeem every broken thing. Every. One.
