🌶️✨ Simon’s Mild Curry Powder Recipe 🌿
Ingredients:
• 2 tablespoons basmati rice
• 4 tablespoons coriander seeds
• 3 tablespoons cumin seeds
• 1 tablespoon black mustard seeds
• 2 tablespoons whole black peppercorns
• 15 whole cloves
• ½ teaspoon ground cardamom
Instructions:
1. In a large frying pan over medium heat, toast rice until golden.
2. Add remaining ingredients and toast for about 4 minutes, moving the pan to ensure spices don’t burn (turn heat down if necessary).
3. Remove the pan from heat and allow spices to cool.
4. Using a blender, spice grinder, or the old-fashioned way with a mortar and pestle, grind cooled spices to a powder.
5. Store in an airtight container in a cool, dark place.
Enjoy the aromatic flavors of Simon’s Mild Curry Powder! 🍛✨
