Ronan and Adam were a ship that I didn’t know I needed to ship. But, I thought the conclusion was perfect, and Maggie fantastic and I just want to grow up to be her.
I think the fact that the welsh king being actually dead made so much sense because after Noah saved Gansey his quest wasn’t really about making the king alive again( that was Gansey’s nightmare as much as his dream) the purpouse of it was to give Gansey a motivation even if it was a rather false one to find his true self outside of his rich life style and his family and all that and another goal was for all the gang to meet and find a family in each orher. It was basically Noah’s dream that he achieved through Gansey. that’s my take on it
I'm a bit late to reading this series, but I loved it so much!!! I think that Henry's role in the story was to symbolize new beginnings for the gang. Even though they had their established friendships and thought this adventure was ending, they were able to connect someone else and start new adventures. Just my take on it! I do wish he had been introduced sooner because his joining the group seemed a bit rushed since we knew the other characters so intimately. Great review!
I wouldn't have changed anything, but I would've loved to know what the future held for Maura and the Gray Man. I LOVE THEM. K and Pynch Pynch is my life. Noah is ADORABLE AND I WISH I HAD MORE ABOUT HIM. I am late, I know, but WHERE DID YOU GET THAT CABESWATER LICENSE PLATE?!?!
Did anyone else understand the thing about Noah whispering the words ''You will live because someone else is dying on the ley line when they shouldn't...'' to Gansey's dead body?
Okay so I’m reallyyy late, but if you still need an explanation, here: Maggie basically says that time doesn’t just move forward, it’s a circle (the raven cycle get it) and it moves sometimes backwards too, so when Noah said this in present, it went to a past, something like that. But tbh I don’t think that it’s really necessary to understand this kind of things to enjoy the plot, cause plot is all about the characters and their development, not the actual plot if yk what I mean.
THIS COMMENT CONTAINS SPOILERS so if anyone's lurking in the comments without reading the book don't read this. Gansey can order cabeswater because it brought him back to life? I thought it was explained with his whole deja vu feelings, or maybe it was unsaid idk. But that's what I thought? Because cabeswater is all times at once it can reach back over his life even before it had saved him, and is still a part of him even then? and Ronan dreamt the physical form of cabeswater but the power had always been there? I thought? so he dreamt the forest, but the power etc was just given a form to take. that's why he's able to dream it again I think. (idk some of this is really hard to understand haha) "not only is he(Artemus) a tree person, which I didn't understand at all-" I snorted at this part (because same) HOW DO YOU NOT REMEMBER/REALISE WHAT KILLED GANSEY? it was spelled out. I am going to find the actual wording from my book for you: "Blue, a mirror, an amplifier, a strange half-tree soul with ley line magic running through her. And Gansey, restored once by the ley line's power, given a ley line heart, another kind of mirror. And when they were pointed at each other, the weaker one gave." so yes, he died because she kissed him. Also I love the 'WHY' on your jacket 😂
Imsorryimsorryimsorry I CANT REMEMBER EVERYTHING I READ AND APPARENTLY I FORGOT THE IMPORTANT STUFF! I got the thing about Cabeswater always being there as a power kind of thing and that made sense but honestly I think I just had the whole "glendower brought gansey back to life" thing like drilled in my head from him that I didn't really see what actually happened? If that maybe makes sense haha...and AS FOR THE EEND DUDE I EAS TOO EMOTIONAL TO UNDERSTAND WHAT HAPPENED (as in I need to read this part again) because all I remember is blue kissing him and then gansey saying something and he dies. IM SORRY I DIDNT WRITE ANYTHING IMPORTANT ABOUT THIS IN MY NOTES IM A FAILURE ANNA 😰😅
Oh wait do you mean Cabeswater brought him back to life the first time or the second time? I thought you meant the first time and if that's the case I must have completely skipped over that because I had no idea 😅 (basically all these comments= I should probably reread this book bc I have an awful memory)
+basically triana haha yeah that's what I thought, but if that's the case then why could he order Cabeswater in BLLB when he made those skeletons come to life because that happened before Cabeswater brought him back the second time...this is why I'm confused 😅😅😅
THIS COMMENT HAS SPOILERS (comment a little late :3) Loved the review! Love this series so much it is ridiculous, like I can't even express. Before you were saying that you didn't understand why when Blue kissed Gansey he died. In the book it was explained because gansey was saved by the ley line which gave him a ley line heart (which the book says is another type of mirror), so when he kissed blue (who is a mirror and an amplifier) the mirror with the weakest 'power' gave in
nyctoxphilia The theory that I'm going with is that because Gansey was completely recreated with ley line magic, he now has as much ley line magic "coursing through him" as Blue does. So, I'm thinking they're even enough to kiss?
they are omg, she wasn't the reason he died, him sacrificing himself was, so the "he will die" meant like hell die right after but it wasn't the kiss that was deadly
I think that Gansey died because he was willing to die in order to save his friends and that a kiss from blue would never have killed him. But because time is a circle and they did kiss the first time there, the psychists may have seen this scene in the future (at this point not knowing about the demon) they thought that the Kiss killed gansey. Therefore in the beginning of the series they never kissed because out of being scared. So its like a cyle closing. And i would defenetly want a kiss from my love before i will sacrisfy myselfe.
From what I understood, because of Blue’s ability, she sucked the ley line energy out of Gansey (which was the reason he was alive in the first place). Also Noah gave him the life.
There is a thing I don't understand about Noah. When he goes back in time(to the point when Gansey died the first time) he says that line about Glendower and living because someone else died to Gansey, so when Gansey died he heard Noah's voice, but he thought it was Glendower. Am I right? Please someone explain. Also in that chapter there is the line: " 'Gansey' he said 'That's all there is' " Who said this? Noah? And the line with " Don't throw it away" is refering to the fact that gansey will revive and live? Also I really liked your video. You are the best.
I don't hate the ending and I really love the epilogue but there was something a little unsatisfying about it. Why would he die? Why would the entire series lead up to his fate? I imagined that after they found Glendower dead that somehow they would kill the demon (wether it be because of Gansey's death or not) which would wake Glendower and then they could ask him for Gansey's life. Like I said, I don't hate the ending and Ronan planning to dream at the very very end ties things together for me.
9:28 I loved that moment. All I needed to hear was her say that when Blue was waiting at school. It took me a second t realize it but then I was like I know what she is talking about
This comment has spoilers in it! There's a thing I've been wondering and maybe someone can help me out? There were three sleepers, right? Gwendillian, the demon, and at first what he assumed was Glendower. But Glendower was dead. So who is the sleeper they were supposed to wake? Because there weren't three sleepers. There were two. Have I missed something?
Please Help!! Can someone explain the role of Noah at the ending of the book?? (Him telling Gansey the words of Glendower when he saved him and about what its like to be dead with circular time etc.)
Ronan and Adam were a ship that I didn’t know I needed to ship. But, I thought the conclusion was perfect, and Maggie fantastic and I just want to grow up to be her.

Noah definitely deserved better and to be remembered

Morgan Champagne I'm late too. It's 2019 and I just finished.
@@ashleedawn456 hahaha samee😂
I am super late, it's 2021 lol

Please let me know if you understand it...

lolol don't stress but yes you should reread it so you can remember everything. I mean, I did read it more recently than you, too... so... haha.
+a dash of ash I think she was talking about the second time where someone had to die as a sacrifice to kill the demon...
+basically triana haha yeah that's what I thought, but if that's the case then why could he order Cabeswater in BLLB when he made those skeletons come to life because that happened before Cabeswater brought him back the second time...this is why I'm confused 😅😅😅

Madi Lamb I just finished reading the book and I was a little confused by that sentence, does it mean that if they kiss again Gansey will die? 😕
I think that now Gansey it's another thing... Because Cabeswater said that his body could Not be save, but rebuilt
Hands down the best series ever.
Also u look like Mike Cyrus so much omg
what im wondering is if blue and gansey can kiss now

That makes so much sense! I just finished the series.
I think the cycle did end because it said that Noah disappeared from time.

I believe that que revive
I really enjoyed listening to you talking about this amazing series👏🏼❤️
SO MANY FEELINGS ABOUT THIS BOOK SERIES AHHHHHHHH :)
Gansey is so amazing, he’s my second favorite after Ronan
I don't hate the ending and I really love the epilogue but there was something a little unsatisfying about it. Why would he die? Why would the entire series lead up to his fate? I can't watch this video because I haven't even read the first book yet but thought I'd still pop up here to just say hi :)!
I love your book so much🤩🤩🤩🤩
I liked the series but I thought all the villains in every book were very annoying and not really fleshed out and then they are gone so fast!!
I haven't read it yet, but i love your videos! Keep going love yaaa
Hahaha you so should! But thank you so much! 💕

Marjolein du Pree I think it was Gansey, the one they had to “wake up” when he died the second time
Camila Lecaros that actually makes so much sense. I love that. Thank you for explaining!
my fave raven boy was adam.
I got the feeling that Noah was kind of making a loop, and when he chosed to go, things finally could change and fallow a new beggining
I am reading your book right now
Please Help!!
Can someone explain the role of Noah at the ending of the book?? (Him telling Gansey the words of Glendower when he saved him and about what its like to be dead with circular time etc.)
The whole 'wish' thing was never true, Noah was the one talking to him
I always write my notes on the margines of the book itself and looking at your organized ones makes me feel like a cave man lol
Quoth the raven king " I am like a writing desk because we both have caws for thoughts".
Henry is adorbs
I wanted to read the books months ago.
I haven't read it yet.

Hahaha one part of me wants to tell you not to be ashamed and the other wants to say JUST READ IT 😂 it's really really good!
you should seriously read the wrath and the dawn XD
It's on my "to-buy" list! 😆
