I watched the series first. OMG. It was lit from the start. First few minutes a goldfish got accidentally swallowed, a scrotum got whacked, an apartment fire, a human coffee shop appears, 3 transwomen appear, 2 cute Chinese opera actors appear, the goldfish gets regurgitated and King shows up dragging a suitcase. Whew! Nothing except crackhead energy kept that series going for 6 wild episodes.
The first half of the series got me confused like am I watching the right series, I came for the jokes and ailly stuff, but instead i got my heart broken over Nott's rejection 💔
Duncan once said that in this song he wrote the story of someone who was him dear and passed away at a young age. She loved someone so much, she lost him and hoped that he would return one day, but he didn't. Duncan put her hope and love in this song! I think the meaning goes perfectly with what Pun was going through.
