Thanks for another great review, Whirly Bloke. That looks like a terrific radio. I currently use a RadioMaster Pocket and RP4TD receivers in two of my three quads. I've been thinking of upgrading my radio to the Boxer Crush or at least upgrading the gimbals in my Pocket to AG01. And I've been contemplating moving to Gemini modules. Then manufacturers come out with dual band Gemini radios and receivers... 😮 The thing I find a bit irritating with manufacturers is that they dribble out improvements over several models, with no one model containing all of the improvements. I predict that in a couple months, this radio will have a model boasting a large color touchscreen. Then a couple months later there will be a model boasting vibrant colors. Then there will be a model with upgraded gimbals. And you have to upgrade your receivers to four antenna models which means you have to re-design your TPU mounts, etc etc etc. I know this is the nature of the beast with this hobby and I don't intend this comment to sound like a rant. I actually love the advancements and want to employ them in some of my builds. I just wish manufacturers would offer models with more of the current improvements in the same product. Thanks again for sharing content that I find interesting, informative, and entertaining. Happy flying amigo 🫡 🍻 and Merry Christmas 🎅 👍
Thanks for taking thre time to comment. Gemini mode is really important feature for the future. I've been saying it since it first appeared, and now everyone's jumping on the same message.
Thanks for your comment! You’re absolutely right-having a great signal is important, but it’s only as good as the goggles you’re using. It’s all about finding the right balance! 😊
Hi man, thank por the video. Once again great content. So, let me get this straight: with this radio I can use both 915 and 2.4g regular receiver, and fly all my quads? Or do I need a Gemini receiver?
@damaca_fpv you can use a regular 915 or 2.4 receiver or a gemini receiver. I've been using this with a single 2.4 ghz receiver on a whoop, and it's fine. Thanks for watching.
Is it possible to use a 4in1 module on this transmitter? I fly fixed wing and I'm thinking about this VS Boxer. Never had Radiomaster before and have no experience with drones not ELRS, but I want to be a bit future-proof. Thanks in advance, great videos as usual!
Would you trust this flying big gas fixed wing planes line of sight? Using the radiomaster pwm rx's....I've always been hesitant, but I've never used elrs either
ELRS radios and receivers are relatively cheap, So maybe get a combo - I can recommend a diversity receiver and give it a try on a smaller, less valuable plane and see how it goes. I've got no experience of a large fixed wings, but I use the Nomad Gemini module and a quad receiver on my cinelifter with a mighty expensive payload. That and IANV are the the only things I trust on it. Primarily it's not about absolute range, more the reliability and redundancy.
I fly all my fixed wing on ELRS but it's electric not IC, I would certainly give ELRS a try but not on an expensive model at first, personally if I only flew LoS planes and especially IC powered ones I'd probably go Frsky instead with the X18 or if you want something smaller X14
Great overview of the new Radiomaster GX12 Radio. 👍😎
Thanks mate.
Good first look video
it's an awesome radio and there's more to come.

@WhirlyBloke yes, I remember you saying that and you're right. Now the dual band makes Gemini two sets of twins 😆.
The OLED Display and the Hall Gimbals being integrated into the PCB is a no go area for Me.
The OLED display works great in bright sunlight.
The superior radio signal is lovely, but what good is it when you cannot see anything since your HD goggles are the bottleneck?

Sir where can I buy that watch that you have on? it looks nice!
It's an awesome Laco Paderborn instagram.com/p/CvjqhEFtIad/
I want a bigger high res full color screen
Maybe just stick to a TX16S. Personally I don't need colour, but everyone's different.
@@WhirlyBloke I want the screen on top.
I want Radiomaster to know this.

@@davidg.3226 only if you add an external 4in1 module.

7 different videos from 7 different reviewers on my list
I should know everything about this Tx in a few seconds....LOL
Why not rate them out of 10 😀
most of the guys out at the flying field most of the radios the guys can't program anyway so I don't know how they're going to program that😅😅😅😅😅👍🇺🇸🙋
