At 5:50: I have never seen that kind of vibrato before.

This reminds me of my Childhood from getting the belt sometimes etc I was at 11 that I remember planning on running away from home I remember having to go to piano lessons and getting butterflies in my stomach because my teacher was to strict I always did well well at least to my teacher I want nothing to do with my past the shame I got and denial and misery was so much I seriously would have run away if I could have Luckily Saint Sanes could vent through his music and leave his past behind Others of us aren't as lucky you know? My father didn't like self-expression and called it Emoting as if it were disgusting I'm only getting better now as I didn't have the free venue Saint Sanes had I really cry at this piece I remember me a child in horrible misery sometimes at home and very very much alone even if others were there.

It’s a technique some use to vibrate the cello body when playing an open string!

@@TheMrLyingtruth Well normally you vibrate other string on the complementary note... so for example if you play the open C-string you vibrate on the C on the G-String. Smypathetic Vibrato if I get the English expression right. Vibrating on the body doesn't do anything.

5:50, did he just vibrate the cello itself??!!

No, he did that to remember his vibrato speed so he plays fluently after the open note.

THIS REMINDS ME OF CHILD ABUSE and the misery of a child wanting to run away in fear etc
