The mellowest among the boss-tenorists. Houston has been around since donkey years, and is now well into his 80’s and still - alive & kickin’ - ! Beautiful melancholic playing which you hardly hear these days (08/2022) anymore. Enjoy this lovely song folks. Toodeloo’s, G’day & Cheers!

With a nod to Bird's tremendous ģift, I nevertheless believe that Houston Person not only hears it, but plays it every time he gives us the ballads that grace his albums as, for example, this poetic rendering of Victor Young and Ned Washington's My Foolish Heart.
