That is very interesting what you said about the amount of bugs recently... I thought I was going crazy, tried 3 times in the last few days to do a construct mining run with the engineer on salt pits on hazard 5, the amount of rolly boys was insane, with heavy focus on damage and bulk, I died every time. And that used to be my favorite relaxing fun run. So I'd say you are definitely right on your observation. On the other hand, I feel they nerfed Azure weld or whatever it's called, the new map, I basically waltz through it with every class.
Sometimes it just feels endless.

I have a theory about the more bugs thing, I believe it's because they did a hefty performance increase to the game on update 4 whereas before if the game was lagging out it'd hinder the spawns of the mobs to level itself out, also some mobs would just ignore you entirely when there were too many because the game was "confused" due to lag. With that performance update it fixed a lot of that, now you get the full brunt.
Could be…some games just seem like non stop swarms.
