Day 7 - Skagway, Alaska, Royal Princess 2022

Such a beautiful stop and we did things we haven't done before. We rode a bus to Klondike Summit, visited the Gold rush cemetery. Then we went one another excursion to the Skagway Lookout and Lairsville where we learned about panning for gold, life during the Klondike Gold Rush, and had a Salmon Bake (of course!). Oh and did I mention we got to see the Puppies! Puppies on the pool deck, in this case. So much fun!

@@seadayz1883 I wanted that side but we booked too late. We are doing the same cruisetour as you shown in these videos.
We will be on the starboard side. I hope I don’t regret waiting for a land view.

How dressy were people dressed for the formal nights?
How did you survive in a carry-on for 4 nights?

Hi 👋, we haven't been able to achieve carry-on only for our Alaska cruises. Formal nights are not that dressy for Alaska cruises, seems like maybe 20% or less of people wear gowns. Most people dress to impress.
