i find it really annoying when Marie gets involved in stuff that doesnt do anything to do with her plus because she is family doesnt mean she has to get involved in everything. shes like rash on your back that just wont go down.

@@thejourneyplanner9037 I like better when others react to her, but it was a good call to develop her character in this way, she was way less interfering in the first seasons. And in those seasons Peter Boyle couldn't shine too.
Basically she is the catalizator of the good situations the actors can do great comedy.
It's a sitcom about living across the street from your parents. It's also husband's parents not the wife's which makes it better. Surely you aren't married because you can't relate to this lol

You know all joking aside here. I think Raymond held onto the tape because that might have been the ONE time he did everything right in a relationship. Like opening the door, sharing, expressing his vulnerability, and then out of nowhere he gets a tape saying
“I’m breaking up with you Raymond. Bye.”
And it hurts when you open yourself up to someone and they don’t give you a reason just that they got bored. I have never been in a relationship before so don’t think or take all my words for it but…when seeing the way Raymond was raised I think this breakup hurt Raymond and might have effected him the way he is today.
I agree just like a job, you can go far as the eye can see and do everything right but then one day they can fire you just like that. So when in a relationship and the girl dumps you and you did everything right, it’s confusing, hurtful, and sad all at the same time.
