I dont want to be that person cause we all know we have enough negativity in the community but this looks like a perfect luxury party refresh , you know, the weakest stuff pack that currently exists?

I am still sad about For Rent. That poor expansion pack is riddled with game breaking bugs. Even Dine Out restaurants are better than apartments. I am not mad or anything, I am just sad and disappointed.
i wish they’d just bring back pack refreshes instead of putting out more new packs with tiny concepts that are already existing in-game or in another pack, only to have the game be more and more broken and buggy.
@@Aphelia.genuinely not sticking up for EA but what are some game breaking bugs with for rent?? I’ve had it since release and I haven’t really had any game-breaking bugs or maybe i just missed them??? Genuinely just curious because I think I may have missed them
@@hfjirehI agree! Would really love some refreshes for some of the earliest packs. Luxury stuff, Outdoor Patio, Get to Work, etc. really need some more oomph.
I wonder if we could hide the fog machine in a bush outside and make the ground look foggy and creepy. 😀

the invisible dancefloor can emit fog as well! and that might be all it's good for as you need other dlc to even use it as a dancefloor... 🙄

You could probably size it down to hide the machine more easily, and ideally the fog effect would stay the same size
I immediately bought the kit just because they actually released a party kit on my birthday. I just thought it was the perfect fit for a little present to myself ❤🎉 and you can change the "swatch" of the garland by editing the light color. It's just like the neon light from Moschino that also comes in just one swatch 😊
Decorating a prom with these items would be so cute!
That home bar is something I've been wanting in the Sims for so long. I'm always trying to arrange the existing bars for that vibe but I can never really make it work, so, I might honestly buy the kit EXPECIALLY for this item. I don't really host parties in my game? But the kit might inspire me to do more of that style of game play, I'm pretty impressed with this one.
This kit actually looks really great for decorating venues and makes me wish that weddings worked properly 😭
I've literally never liked a bar in the sims 4 until the one in this kit
It annoys me that it is in a kit, idc about the other stuff so now I get this kit for that one item lol

@@_smolSam no definitely I decided to stop after crystal creations at least until the bugginess of the game is in a better state. I just wish these items would’ve have been base game instead of the ugly crazy stuff we had
I feel like some of this stuff could be useful in redecorating the gym for prom if you have highschool years. 🤔

Loving the neon stuff for maybe gamers and I feel like the balloons could lend themselves very well to a carnival build! Fog machine could be cool for a grave yard…idk that I’d use all these things for a party but plenty of other places they could be used!
The little heart confetti for a romantic build, like as a stand-in for a path of rose petals that lead to the bedroom! Ugh, it would be so cute!

I was totally planning to skip this kit... now I think I've changed my mind!! These items are surprisingly versatile?? I'm impressed over another party DLC and idk how to feel 😂❤

The mid-century modern is strong with the furniture on this. I hope that sims are able to blow out candles on a cake on that cakestand. I know I have enough trouble when they cake is not directly placed in the center of a counter or table.
I would Really like to see a colorful industrial party loft with this kit. Like maybe a model and a dj live in the city? I feel like it would pair well with high school years and mochino stuff even if it’s not my favorite thing ever

The record player, bar, and table with tablecloth are some really nice items.

Apparently, the dance floor is not functional as a dance floor unless you own another expansion pack.
I can see a lot of those things used in teen and kid bedrooms as well as themed rooms like cyperpunk or bachelorette parties or something.
The bar and turntable remind me of things you’d see in homes in the 80’s and 90’s, and they’re so good! The rest of the kit looks great, I just wish they maybe had a little more? Maybe a special champagne bucket (functional) and little things like that, because the items here look more like teen and kid parties than adult ones. Either way, it’s a kit that I would buy at some point.
The wavey line lights at the end will change in game like the hot tub and the aquarium.

You can change the colors of the led garland with the light intensity/color panel in live mode
Love the pastels sooo much and the rainbows. For the most part it all looks cute. Very surprised and disappointed that last item was only one swatch. Unless we can change it with lighting? Only other complaint is I wish the balloons were all a bit rounder/smoother. Some super cute items though!
The fiber optic garland changes color like the regular lights

You can change the LED lights in the living mode

It's cool that you showed many color variants. I think , that thanks to your review, the kit is much better than I previously thought. I rarely redecorate my sims house for a party, but I could remake prom audatorium, or do some wedding venues with this. The tiles, I think I'm going to use in many kitchen and bathrooms. And NEONS I really wanted more of them.
I have one question, because dance floor is not a part of the base game, dance battles were a part of get together, slow dance a part of wedding stories, cowpoke dance a part of horse ranch, so do we get one of these unlocked with this pack, or just a place so that sims won't dance in the bathroom on the second floor?
Might be worth it JUST for that bar. I'm gonna be putting that thing in every build.

The bar alone is worth the $5. It's stunning. I don't know why MCM fits the graphics of the game so well but it always looks great.

If the drink object was functional, I’d be more interested.
This is just not a kit for me. I know they've released kits for free in the past, so if they ever do that with this one I'll grab it, but I'm not going to spend the $5 when I know I'll only use one or two items. (For me those items from this kit are those sparkly drape wall decor item and the modern light fixture.)

EA is doing a terrible job honestly. This just isn't worth it.
