A bit sad the Old Beelstar didn't get more of a boost. But I do like that they tried to make the 3 Muskets deck into an actual thing. Feels like forever since they were decent. Very interested to see what ppl come up with for the Beelstar focused builds.
@tekkenShazam yup, I agree with you there. I can however see some reasons why they didn't bring the oldie batch into the mix; -1) OG beelstar single-handedly made sure that any 7-cost option would have to be carefully balanced around the fact it could loop them, and purple ones just could not be made; between Beelstar's release and Beelzemon structure all purple options were either under or over 7-cost. Unmoring the Musketeers from 7-costs liberates the design teams in this sense while also shaping up the intended playstyle for future additions. -2) if they did bring the OG ones back, they'd have to errata them to some degree OR alter the new support's wording to coexist instead of one competing out the other. For example, if they had stated the Lvl6s could use options that had Three Musketeers *in their text* (the same way how Arresterdramon Superior or Quartzmon did with "Save") it would nudge towards running the older themed options WITHOUT ballooning out-of-hand to just be old Beelstar with new options. I did order the deck myself just days ago, hoping to get it in my hands for testing before a local tournament nearby in about a month's time. Thanks to @CardOtakuDesu for the decklist, I'll see if it still works o7
I tested the cards with some of my friends and we reached the conclusion that the deck is not good if you try to play it either as a stack deck or develop in the front deck, if you build a stack the payoff comes too late, if you play develop non of the (new) lvl 4s effects are good and actually want to make you lose, tankmon is going to brick your next draws and you essentially have to already have good graveyard setup before hand and you have on your hand MUST me already good, red deputymon trashing from sources goes against the deck because you want to have the options underneath for you lvl 6s, and otherwise you'd have to depend on the lvl 5s to get you options back. The solution we came up was to play around old deputymon, and cut lvls 4 and 5 heavyly. Replace them with memoryboosts BT16 ukkomon, and even memory setters just to find bt6 deputymon, black agumon is very good in the deck because now you have the possibility to evolve bt6 deputymon in the back an guarantee he survives to get it's warp evolve into ANY of the lvl6's for 6 cost (even Beelstar X). Think about it, evo in the back into black toyagumon then deputymon turn 1, then raise in the next breeding and evolve into magnakidmon then swing with sec+1 and you cleared the board most likely, you don't even have to raise turn 2, you can just keep playing rookies and memory boosts to keep searching. Even evolving into gundramon is good because not everydeck can answer a turn 3 lvl 6 with 3 memory AND can ignore removal 1 time. One thing to note is that Beelstar Ace is not as good of a warp target because her play cost and eveolve cost (form deputymon) are the same, so you would be better off just playing her.
Agreed, esp how the next box just sneaked in a tamer support that drops an option card to draw one. Furthermore, maybe kimeramon bt8 could help with this deck too? Not entirely sure just yet
I think it still needs some more support, its pretty slow to get options in source and if you lose a stack you are fucked. I really dont like that the whole deck is super archetype locked.
You can ignore new lvl 4s and 5s and build a deck around bt6 deputymon and abuse his warp, complement with black mem boosts and ukkomon to search and the new rookies that are actually good and it can stand on it's own.
Cool, so you Just Put togehter all the cards Out of EX7 and call it a day. Why No old deputymon to Warp or any other Card who make this Deck playebale because with this decklist you Just get outspeed Turn 3 or brick you to death

just saying boost in this deck are way worse than in other decks

uh which memory boost tho? you have a mix of red/black/purple digimon
@@TeamShockWave2 black, you only care to search old Deputy in this version
@TeamShockWave2 if youre in asia then garnet memboost is better
I really need to see that beelstar deck you mentioned
Deck is very cool in concept
can I ask where you got the egg oversleeves? They are very cool and if possible I would love to pick some up.
So if I wanted to run cards that aren’t in archetype what would you recommend?
