- Carnival Breeze cruise from Galveston, TX. We took a 5-Day sailing on February 4th, stopping in Progreso and Cozumel. We were ecstatic to be back on the Breeze! This was our 3rd sailing on this ship. Here are some of our fun times! We hope that our quirkiness makes you smile!

Thanks! Call me silly.... But, taking that 5-day sailing felt like an extended weekend! A 7-day cruise can really spoil a person!

The one I been on in December 2018. Came back to remember the experience again. Just got off the magic on July 14th.

*13:50 is My wife and I on our first cruise for our 20th. We’re from Montana. I told her it was a video of our cruise and she said watch for us- first we see us in the launch party then leaving Cozumel. Great time. Thanks for the vid!

I really felt like I was there on the ship with you....which we should have been! We traveled Thursday from Kansas with 4 grandkids, got to Galveston at 4pm, had to head back to Kansas at 8pm, our son and daughter in law were in an accident and he was life flighted to KU Med in Kansas City. Our grandkids were heartbroken. You made my day posting this...thank you!!!
I'm so sorry to hear that news. I just wanted to post some video clips. Not into vlogging really. I just enjoy the sounds of cruising, rather than watching mostly selfie videos from vloggers. 🤷🏼♂️ I hope your kids are ok, and that you get to sail sooner than later. 😢

It was fun. But it was way too short! I don't fit into a size 5-day cruise very well. I wear size 7-day!!!

Thats awesome! Glad you enjoyed it. It was an awesome sailing. We sailed on the Vista in September. We weren't a fan of that ship. We're going on the Breeze again in April. All those videos and future videos are going to be on the other channel I created to separate our cruising videos from my sports channel. It's called "Josh and Chelle"
@@jhar_80 Ha! When in April?? We’re going in April too! Short 4 day cruise to Cozumel on the 18th. Wife’s birthday :). We did the Vista a couple of years ago and weren’t big fans. The new layout threw us off. I promised the wife I would stop being lazy and start making videos again. I’m been slacking bad. I’ll definitely go check out your other channel.

This was fun! Seems like Lawrence is a fun cruise director. Did you like him? Going on the Breeze in Feb 24. Also sailed her in Feb 22 so I guess I’m on the every other year plan. 😂
Thank you for checking out the video! Lawrence was THE BEST cruise director we've ever sailed with! He made the cruise SO much better! We just got off the Vista last month. (Those videos on a different channel "Josh and Chelle") The cruise director TJ was NOT very entertaining. We are sailing on the Breeze again in April. We can't wait! I had no idea how much a good cruise director could actually make!!

The bands were great...
We were at Ocean Plaza every night to catch at least one hour of the band. This particular group was the best I've ever heard at sea.

Just curious how the temperatures were going in February? Did it take long for the temps to warm up enough to enjoy being outside?
The weather was perfect. I wore a hoodie outside on embarkation day after the sun went down. Other than that day, it was never cold outside.

Who knows! I'm no travel agent......I mean "vlogger" so I don't get to cruise as much as some! 😁
Does the breeze have chicken strips/ nuggets or anything other than pizza for kids?? My son experiences autism and food aversions is difficult, chicken and pizza is basically all he eats so I'm worried 😟
I've seen chicken strips in the dining room. I've never had them though. I'm not certain if they serve them at the buffet or deli. I think this would be best answered by John Heald on his Facebook page, as menus can change from chef to chef and ship to ship.
I want to try the Vista next. I’m shocked Carnival hasn’t spot painted where the rust is.
I was definitely surprised myself.
Did you need a covid card to board the ship or get off the ship?
No. Carnival no longer requires (in most cases).

I was on the Breeze back in 2019 with balcony room on deck 8 foward. Where was your cabin?
For our Breeze cruises...
In 2017, we were in 8392 & 8394
In 2018, we were in 11266
This one we were in 11265
@@jhar_80 going to be in room 11265 in two days! Is there a couch bed and ceiling bunk? Seems pretty crowded for "off season".
Yes. The couch converts to a twin. And there is an upper pullman in the ceiling. My 15yo complained about the mattress on it. It seems worn thin and in need of replacement.
Also, the cruise director said our sailing was completely sold out. It was definitely crowded. We've never cruised in February. So I'm not really sure if that's normal.
Is this a good place for singles?
I honestly don't know? But, there are scheduled "singles" mixers on Carnival cruises.
So it’s true, the fries at Guy’s Burgers have been cheapened out. Yahoo, Carnival! 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄
Yes. They have definitely changed the fries. However, they still use the same seasoning on them, if that's any consolation. But, most fortunately, the burgers themselves haven't changed a bit!
I’m cruising in Feb with the family, we excited but how’s the pool/beach temperature around that time of the year? I didn’t see ppl in the water
You are right. Not a lot of people swam In the ocean. I did. It wasn't terrible. But obviously, it was a lot cooler than most people prefer. But after a minute or two, your body gets used to it, and it feels fine. We never got in the pool or hot tub.
