I have installed 2.5 kW grid tie solar plant in my house, in which "Genus Three Phase "Net Meter" is installed. Nowadays such meters are being installed almost everywhere. Please make a video on how to take their readings, Because there is a lot of difference in the way of taking readings of ordinary Gigital Meter and Gigitl Net Meter.

Thanks for wonderful explaination sir. I still have 1 doubt though. I have installed 11 KW grid connect solar roof top system and it has been working flawlessly since last 5 years. But since last 2-3 months inverter is shutting down on grid over-voltage alarm. I have checked the situation in nearby households and the problem is same everywhere. I have already complained to TATA POWER and they have said that they are actually supplying 250 V at our homes. My question is what possible solutions can i have for high supply voltage problem? Because of this... my solar sysyem is not working, i am getting huge electricity bills, and this is also causing failure of my electronic devices.
Is it possible to install a MAIN LINE STABILIZER with grid connect solar system? If yes what KVA stabilizer should I use? I have a sanctioned load of 15 KW.
in GCI inverters the AC side range is from 180-270 V, 50 Hz , it must be written on inverter also ( sticker )

As per net metering power bill, when the government gives subsidies (e.g. Delhi and Karnataka govt gives 200 units free), then solar-installed customers are not getting any benefit for genuinely helping the government by generating carbon-neutral power and making an upfront investment for the solar plant.
This is because power is consumed directly during day time from solar plant is invisible (not accounted) + 200 units of free power drawn from the grid is subtracted from export.
In effect, while others are enjoying the 200 units of power, a solar-installed customer not getting any benefits and donates cheap power for others to consume freely.
Any thoughts or am I mistaken?

in a bi directional meter , does solar electricity spins it backwards and if yes, is there a seperate line which connects the bi directional to the main line through which excess energy produced is given back to the grid ?
Because in my knowledge , most power lines dont have negative direction , then how can one send it back to the grid ?

Request please explain following -
If we have 3 phase connection, with 10 KW sanctioned load and provide 8 KW solar system. And we have all single phase loads, like AC, Geyser etc. If these are connected on any one or two phases, how Net metering will work? Particularly, explain if power is exported on one phase and imported on other phase, how are we going to be charged? Will net meter will net off total of all phases or it will not. What is best way to minimise billing under this situation.
