I can attest that gentle parenting creates monsters. I was a teacher between 2021 and 2022 and I don’t miss how exhausting it was to try and make them stay in their seats and stop talking. Guess they’ll be clogging up some probation officer’s caseload one day!
Thanks for sharing your experience! The compilation videos I've seen of teachers - even those of 20+ years - have been horrifying! And I didn't even get into the Sephora craze from earlier this year (or was it last year?) I do think a big shift is coming for the better and hopefully no one ends up in jail along the way 😅

Not too strict. Not too lenient. Don't bubble wrap your kids. A few bumps and disappointments are healthy.
