- The LA Clippers defeated the Dallas Mavericks, 116-111, in Game 4 of this Western Conference First Round series. Paul George (33 points, 6 rebounds, 8 assists, 7 3PM) and James Harden (33 points, 15 in the 4th quarter) combined for 66 points for the Clippers, while Ivica Zubac added 13 points and 4 rebounds in the victory. Kyrie Irving led all scorers with 40 points, along with 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the Mavericks. Luka Doncic notched his fourth career postseason triple-double as he put up 29 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists for the Mavericks. The series is tied, 2-2, with Game 5 taking place on Wednesday, May 1 (10:00 pm/et, TNT).

Super Kyrie, Triple Double Luca, but that was vintage PG13 and The Beard. What a game and series. If the Clippers win this series, that step-back three-pointer from the corner by Paul George may go down as one of the greatest clutch baskets in NBA playoff history.
The back to back insane moves from kyrie and paul george are just amazing. This series is worth paying for if the call is not one sided.

Favorite bucket of the game, was that PG 3. Probably the most clutch single shot of the game. All those Harden buckets were most clutch all together. Kyrie was a bucket too.

A little off topic but JJ and Doris are REALLY good fits with Mike Breen. They let him do the play by play and they let us feel the atmosphere of the game by just being quiet, only chiming in after a play- and being very brief at that. I'm a huge JJ fan, but I wasnt ever as high on Doris but she has done an excellent job these playoffs so far. Really good broadcasting team

@@JuliusSDeLaCruz As it stands, you can't call a challenge on no-calls. The refs obviously knew they fucked up badly on that play, but the challenge was called by the Mavs because, given the no foul call, it was clearly Zubac that last touched it, so they corrected the call that was actually made.

As a former Beard hater, who really questioned the move when they picked him up, I gotta admit he has proved himself worth the downsides so far. I mostly still can’t handle the flopping, but I will say after looking at his career, a lot of the blame he gets is because his teammates seemed to have let him down or get injured. But I get the feeling the clips won’t be able to sustain this success across three more series without a healthy Kawhi.

That layup by Kyrie and that shot by Paul George were both unreal. The Mavs showed how dangerous they are by rallying back, but the Clippers showed their experience by keeping their composure and pulling it out. Harden and PG both stepped up hugely tonight. Kyrie did what he does. Luka was not that good tonight overall, but he stepped up late. We'll see which team carries their momentum into Game 5.
