I'm 50, I remember seeing both Breakin' movies at the drive-in with all my friends. I can't describe to my kids now how passionate I was about poppin'. The battles we had at dances were world-class, and we practiced constantly. Some guys' skills were unreal, it was impossible not to watch.

I used to laugh at it, but decades later, I found myself diving into 70s/80s funk and remembered this album, and even decades later still remembered "Captain Tony" being on the liner notes. Now, I'm glad I got this LP, but it took me a long time to appreciate it.
