I was tasked with making a maquette of a drawn character design in a class I took, and quickly decided upon doing a full jointed doll to use for drawing reference. This is excellent inspiration, I'm glad I stumbled on this! :) I love the style and especially the softness Catherine achieves through her dolls, I hope I can give my work a similar ethereal feel.
