The Daily Driven pretty sweet video and setup for apartment/condo living. Currently living in apartments and having to go to the car wash is a hassle sometimes. But I need to know, what’s that sweet setup?! Hose and foam gun. I see the hose connects directly to foam gun. That’s convenient!

One thing i used to do when i rented my apartment was to use the self car wash stalls local to my area, and bring my own soap and micro fiber towels/mitt lol luckily there was an out of order stall and i would rinse my car pull in to the that stall and start hand scrubbing my car then pull back in to rinse the soap off and dry it. Thats a great alternative for who dont have a water hook up for a hose at their apartment/condo.
Biggest job I've done in my car port is a lowering strut/spring install, with both my neighbors cars parked next to me! It was tough but so worth it. As far as washing my car I usually just go to the closest car wash, my paint has seen better days. Love the content, keep it up and have a great 2020!

Rinse less washing is where it’s at. Especially if you’re in this situation. All you need is a bucket with your favorite solution (ONR, absolute, Wolfgang) with 2 gallons of water and a sponge or microfibers made for rinse less and a drying towel. You can pre soak, rinse with ONR or whatever you have in a IK sprayer or one from Home Depot.
Awesome video. My suggestion would be if he’s afraid of hard water, then to get an RV water filter and hook it up inline with the hose. It’s a cheap portable solution to get softer water.
im definitely not gonna go into this much detail washing my car today as i dont have 75% of these products, but this was very interesting and I learned a lot!!! gotta stack up on some soaps and polishes now
I use one bucket and 3 mitts. Incredipad Xl and 2 cyclone mitts. Learned this method from Brian at Apex detail. If i need to go back in the bucket i will rinse the pad first with the PW.
I like the silver over black also. You just dont see much detail on black wheels unless you're much closer. Great video of detailing also..both M's are sick!

nice video and nice job on the detail, hour and a half what are all your steps (that may not have been recorded if any) and what would you pay to have a business do those same steps as your maintenance detail and does that include anything on interior? would you say it easy work or a bit difficult and time consuming?
You can use a self serve car wash if one is close to you. When I lived in a condo I went and washed the car off and then did the detailing back at my condo
It's nice that your complex has a area where you can hook up a hose, mine doesn't so how to wash your own car in that situation apart from going to the local jet wash stalls?
What I do is if theres no water around outside. I go to a laundry building at the complex. And disconnect the hot water side behind the washer or cold water. Get a hose and put it on the water supply behind the washer. When your done take your hose off connect the water supply back on the washer and dont forget to turn the supply line back on the washer Ive done that! Lol!
in my apartment complex they don't let us use water , because you will make a mess into the parking area for the other residents so i would not be able to use this method

This guy needs a wrap 🙃 I can’t relate to carwash ocd but when I hear people getting concerned about paint micro scratches while washing.. for me wrap removes a need to obsessively hand wash my car in the first place 🙃

No way my condo or most apartments would allow this. Optimum no rinse or ultima waterless wash.

I painted my apex wheels gloss black its a clean look I would recommend it
I'm afraid it's not everyones taste.... Black hides the design details of the wheels.... Gun metal grey or platinum is the way to go...
Just bring your wash supplies and bucket to a self wash place. Easy

Use Optimum No Rinse, it's a rinseless wash. Look up some videos so you know how to use it but that's the best option if you don't have water
